This MA provides an intensive combination of taught course units and supervised research to develop our students' skills and confidence as scholars and critics of literature and its contexts. Our chief aim is to enable our students to develop as scholars, researchers, writers and critics in their chosen specialism, equipped with a range of critical skills and methodologies for understanding and analysing literature and culture across multiple historical, social and intellectual contexts.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a honours undergraduate degree (NFQ level 8) in a related discipline with minimum upper second-class honours or international equivalence.
- Students require a minimum of 60% or higher in previous studies.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
