Master of Arts [M.A] [Tourism Destination Management] From Breda University of Applied Sciences

In this master?s programme from? you will learn to match the supply of international tourism destinations with the demand of tourists in a responsible manner. The guiding principle in this process is making a positive contribution to the development of and opportunities for people and businesses in the destination areas.?

The programme lasts one year and consists of three phases. The theory part is dealt with in the first phase. In the second phase you will conduct a research project at three different far-away travel destinations. The third phase centres on the graduation project.?

Study at four locations?in the world

This master?s programme offers you the opportunity?to study at four different locations in the world. During?phase one you will study in Breda together with?students from various countries. You will study theory,?attend guest lectures and work on practical assignments.?In the second phase you will carry out research at three?different destinations in Australia and South-East Asia.?

This way you will get many intercultural experiences.?Each destination finds itself in a different stage of?development. In previous years destinations were:?Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Myanmar, Cambodia,?Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Fiji. In the final phase?of your degree you will work on your graduation?assignment. You can do this anywhere in the world.?Either independently or for a company.
