What are the key factors that kept you in the best positions at educational institutes?

“The respect, nobility, and Knowledge associated with the educational institutes kept me glued to it”

The education department is very noble as everyone, be it an IAS officer, Doctor, engineers, etc. all have to go through the education department at some point in their life. The respect which a student has for a teacher is what has made me connected with education for such a long time and the nobility in the profession and sector is what attracted me to it. I had a strong grasp of my academic subjects and I wanted to impart the knowledge which I had gained from my teachers to my students so that they too can become successful in life. My other reason to become a teacher is to make a difference in the lives of as many students as you can. I draw satisfaction from my job when I see my students getting employed and generating employment for others as well.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“To maintain balance within the organization by collaboration, teamwork, and guidance”

A leader supports his or her subordinates and maintains the right balance within the organization among various departments such as the management, staff, and the students. I think that for the growth of any organization teamwork is very important. In my view, one entity alone, be it the staff or the management or the students cannot do anything alone. They need a leader to guide them and help them along the way. Under the proper guidance of a leader, everyone can put in their best efforts to maximize the output while doing any task and hence lead to the overall growth of an organization. The synchronized efforts of every individual in an organization right from the Chairman, the Director, the staff, and students with the guidance of a good leader will lead to the growth of the organization.

What is your vision for the Institute for the next 5 years?

“To ensure the quality education, placements and best facilities for students”

I want my organization to lead the education sector in all fields, be it the field of academics or in the field of providing good placements to the students or in the field of inspiring students to pursue their dreams in any sector such as arts, sports, music, etc. We are working on imparting quality education to our students so that they can achieve all they have dreamt of in life and shall have the best possible guidance from leading experts in academia and the industry so that they can keep up with the international standards. I want my organization to be considered as one of the premier institutions in the country with the best-in-class facilities provided to the students.

How do you make the Course Curriculum industry-oriented?

“To bridge the gap between the practical and theoretical skills of students”

The Institute aims to equip students with conceptual knowledge and functional skills required towards a technology-oriented world. SMGI with its rich experience seeks to integrate technical excellence and professional commitment wherein each individual must know how to reason, how to acquire and sort out information, how to imagine what can't be seen, how to speak and write, how to translate knowledge into wise action and how to be both faithful and brave. SMGI intends to take on the challenge to craft an ambitious institute, which is prepared to undertake such ambition and goal with strength, self-awareness, and confidence to transform millennium youth into effective global residents.

What do you see as SMGI College’s greatest strengths?

We have a well-coordinated and disciplined staff who work tirelessly to impart the best knowledge to the students. We have excellent support from the management. We have experienced faculty members with about 10 to 15 years of experience and are subject experts. They have both conceptual and practical knowledge of the industry who can guide the students in the best way to achieve excellence in their careers.

We have talented students and very supportive staff and management for providing the best environment where a young and raw talent can flourish and achieve great heights. The spacious and well-equipped library boasts a collection of books, journals, and periodicals on an array of subjects. We are determined to give the students creative thinking, up-to-date knowledge, and technology in a refreshing atmosphere, as well as We are continuously working to improvise the concept of Pharma education in today’s global era to serve humanity better.

What do you think about the Placement in your college?

“Our College provides 100% Placement Assistance to the Students”

We have good placement statistics in our college with over 80% placement in all the courses. We invite several companies to visit our college campus in our placement sessions with the prominent companies among them being Dr. Reddy labs and various others.

Placements are offered in various disciplines such as production, quality control, quality management, and research and development. Some of the students have started their own business after getting good practical knowledge straight from our college.

What are the challenges you are facing in your college due to Pandemic?

“To ensure continuous education for students even during the pandemic and coming years”

In my personal opinion, the pandemic has had a vast impact on the interest of the students. They are not showing the enthusiasm which was before the pandemic. The online mode of education has affected the student mentality and they do not want to work hard. Some students are taking things for granted and wish to continue with the online mode of study which cannot be useful in the long run. The college also had to adapt due to this pandemic but we came through with providing facilities to students via online mode and also conducting online exams on short notice. The biggest challenge I think is the changing mentality of the students.

What advice would you give to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?
