Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, Pauri (GBPEC) was founded in the year 1989 with an aim of promoting higher education in technology. It is located in Ghudauri of Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. Affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, it offers undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes.

GBPEC follows a semester system where each year is divided into odd and even semester. The Examination Division issues notifications and updates regarding the schedule of the examinations as and when finalized. It is mandatory for the students to maintain a minimum of 75% of attendance to be eligible to appear for the end term examinations. The courses follow Credits based system of evaluation. Additionally, they have to submit the assignments and projects within the announced deadlines

GBPEC End Semester Examination 2023

The university has an Examination Division which is responsible for conducting examinations for the students enrolled for various programmes offered by the university. The students who are studying regular courses in the university or in any of the institutes/colleges which are affiliated to the university are allowed to appear for these examinations. There are three examinations conducted during one semester – two terminal tests and one end semester examination.

After the end of approximately sixth week of the commencement of the semester, the first terminal test is conducted whereas after the completion of 12 weeks of course, second terminal test is conducted. The end semester examinations will be held around the course completion of all the subjects in the stipulated time, around 17th week of teaching during a semester.

How to Check GBPEC Result 2023

The university uploads all the results on the university website. Candidates can check their result by following the below given steps:

  • Student must visit the official university website.
  • He/she must select his/her course among the displayed list of various programmes. The results are uploaded as a PDF file against each course. These PDF files can be downloaded.
  • For downloading the PDF files, he/she must right click on the mouse and click on the option listed, ”save target as”.
  • If the candidate is unable to view the file, he/she can download Adobe Acrobat Reader to be able to view the same.
