The academician has nearly 15 years of experience in Teaching and Industrial field.
In an exclusive interview with collegedunia.com, Mr. Vora shares his views on the education industry and talks about his institute in details.
Mr. Vora’s outlook on education
Education is a noble profession. A person who wants to pursue a career in this field should be down to earth and always be ready to learn new things. It is important for educators to understand the different learning patterns of the students so that they can implement the best methods and make it the best industry to work in.
Changing curriculum with changing times
With the changing times and needs of the society, we need to provide such facilities to students that help them become industry ready. Every year, with increasing number of students, the demand for better courses and colleges are also increasing. Therefore, we need to implement industrial touch and practical knowledge in our curriculum, so that students become equipped with better skill sets.
Placement Opportunities at KIRC, Kalol
Placement is an important parameter for both parents and students at the time of selection of courses and colleges. AT KIRC, we have created a placement cell, working dedicatedly for the students. They get in touch with the corporates every now and then in order to have them in pipeline at the time of recruitment. Also, they hold various workshops and seminars to groom and train each student for upcoming challenges and real-world problems.

Hard work and smart work go hand-in-hand
We, at KIRC believe in both hard work and smart work. We also try to serve our students for their overall growth and development. A student should work hard but also be smart enough with practical knowledge of the industry.
Mr. Vora’s ideal school environment
The ideal school environment according to me would be where there is regularity. Regular studies, classes, case studies, practical are the primary requirements. As per the demands of society, we need to sustain the position, provide co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to the students so that they can develop themselves for this competitive world. Keeping this in mind, we conduct technical and management events, sports leagues, cultural functions, festival celebration regularly at the campus.
Ensuring best practice of the industry
Our courses are under the State University so the curriculum is fixed by the University and we have to follow it. However, when the State University designs the syllabus, it brings in industrial touch for the students. Various processes from different fields are a part of the syllabus committee. This way we ensure that our students get the best practice industry.
Taking KIRC to greater heights
I am associated with this Institute since its establishment. Within a span of 13 years I have undergone the best psychological exercise of work culture. Whenever there is any curricular or extracurricular activity arranged at our Institute I distribute powers equally to my subordinates. I believe in organizational structure. I try and inculcate the mantra of team spirit into my faculty members and students. In this manner, we have organised two National level conferences, Tech Fests, Sports weeks and Annual functions.
Along with the financial backup from the management & coordination from respective HOD’s, we have achieved the top position at Hackathon 2017-18 at Nationals. It is because of this coordination among faculty members and management that we at KIRC are now a group of ten various colleges in 2019.
Goals for the next few years
As I said earlier, we constantly believe in brainstorming at the academic level. It makes us proud that we are unique and are now a group of 10 various colleges providing several professional programs to students. Our future goal is to continue working for the betterment of the students and help them excel in their career endeavours.
Suggestions for the youth and aspiring students
I would like to say that the profession that I am into is not actually a profession but a service towards the nation. The students should work hard, gain experience and skills so that they can also work towards building a better nation and society to live in.
