“The will to transform the lives of young minds keeps me connected to the education sector”

Tenure of about two decades in the education industry has nurtured and developed me into an experienced academician. As indicated by me, the critical components that have kept me associated with the education sector are devotion, commitment, tenacity, student-centric approach. Also, unceasing professional up-gradation, research inclination, and bonding with the stakeholders of their requirements.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“My leadership style is transformational”

A leader is the person who connects with the stakeholders at all levels and guides them. I follow the ‘Transformational Leadership’ philosophy. I follow the three quadrant approach - directing, motivating, and always persuading people to give their best outside of their comfort zone

How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“We analyse and assess every step carefully”

We spend good time deliberating and brainstorming on myriad aspects of programs, marketing and administration. Feedback received from stakeholders is deeply analyzed to find solutions to the challenges faced. Frequent industry interaction helps us to identify the current trends and requirements. That is used while designing the new programs to upskill our students. The team is highly energetic, and severe brainstorming helps us design marketing plans.

“We put emphasis on practical learning via various sources of knowledge”

The program structure at GBSRC is comparable to the best institutes worldwide offering management education. GBSRC is a potpourri of students from diverse backgrounds like commerce, management, medical, science, arts, para medics, etc. GBSRC is akin to mini India as we have students from across the country's length and breadth. Apart from academics, students mingling with different cultures learn significantly beyond the classroom.
