Dr. Lokesh Bharti is currently the Chairperson at LR Group of Institute, Solan. Managed by LLR Trust. She is managing the academic administration of the Institute for the past decade. She is a doctorate holder and has improvised the educational facilities for student benefit and the organization’s objective of serving society at large. 

As a chairperson, what is your vision through the LR Group of Institute?

“A progressive and stimulating educational set-up for aspiring students”

Education is the fundamental base of human development. Skills, knowledge and experience obtained through education define how people see the world; develop their future career and ultimately what kind of life they can lead. I wish to help young people learn, by breaking down barriers and providing genuine support and guidance to them. This can be most effectively done through community environments or within an education setting such as an institute or college. I aspire to facilitate intellectual stimulation to generate, maintain and disseminate knowledge among students. We intend to empower participants to meet the challenges of a collaborative and competitive globalized environment through our Institute. “Excellence and Values” are our guiding principles which are reflected among our students while shaping and sharpening their mindsets by the academic rigor of our programmes. 

How is cultural diversity an important aspect in an academic institution?

“Inclining and embracing the diverse perspectives of our world”

Our aim is to provide value-oriented professional education to all children of Himachal Pradesh without discrimination. We also harness individuals who have their feet rooted in tradition but their vision is towards progressive modern development. Fostering inclusion and awareness around multicultural education and taking a culturally responsive approach to teaching benefit all students. Not only does creating greater multicultural awareness and inclusion help students with different backgrounds succeed, but it encourages acceptance and helps them to thrive in an exponentially diverse world as well. Diversity in and out of the classroom will continue to grow, so it’s essential we prepare students to adapt to an evolving world and embrace those different from themselves. We have several ways that our own teachers and administrators can ensure that both the classroom environment and curriculum are responsive to the increasing cultural diversity of our society.

We want our students to meet the challenge of the latest technology and development, and to develop their attitudes and skills for all-around personality development.
