Mr. Koribilli Ramesh is working as the Principal of Dadi Veerunaidu College. He has been the principal of the institution since 2014. Earlier, he was the Vice Principal in this institution. He completed his graduation from Andhra University and did his M.Tech from the Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology. Mr. Koribilli has the vision to create opportunities for the students to achieve their goals through the help of the institution.

What are your views on leadership?

“A good leader thinks about others and takes right decision at the right time”

A leader should not be selfish, he/she should not think about himself. A leader should always lead his group for the betterment of the society and institution. In my point of view, a leader should always make wise decisions and should not take two sides. He or she should always be unbiased under any condition.

What keeps you connected to the education sector?

“I believe education is the only sector which is not selfish”

In the education sector, we are not only earning money but we are also working towards the development of the students. This is the only sector where we are motivating the students and the younger generation which will lead to a better society. We are converting students into better individuals. The only way to train the students to achieve their goals is through the education industry and that is the reason I am at this place today.

Dadi Veerunaidu Naidu College is well equipped with all kinds of Laboratories with all the latest types of equipment and technologies. We have Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Electronics, and Computer Sciences. We ensure the proper grooming of the students in practical as well as theoretical knowledge. We are training the students to be confident in terms of getting a job. Our college is also providing an e-library to deliver all the knowledge at the fingertips of the students.

What are the steps taken to help the economically poor background students?

“For every course, the best performer is awarded the merit scholarship”

Most of the intake in our college is from the Anakapalle region and the rest of the intake is from the nearby areas surrounding the Anakapalle region. Most of the intake is from rural backgrounds only. Our college is providing all the government scholarships provided by the Andhra Pradesh government. Scholarship money is directly credited to the parent’s account. In addition to this our college management is also providing merit scholarships depending on the performance of the students.

Where do you want your college to be in the next 5 to 10 years?

“We are already performing excellently in terms of Degree College”

We are the best degree college in Visakhapatnam rural area in terms of student strength, the opportunities provided, and the number of placements. I want our college to be the best performing college in the whole of Visakhapatnam. We want to stand out to be the number one college in all the surrounding areas.

What message do you want to give to the current youth and the Aspiring students?

“Don’t go for the early settlement”

A student should try out every avenue and opportunity before fixing on to something. Every student should be versatile and should be taking care of their expenses at the right time. Always the priority should be education because if you get a better education then you will get a better opportunity. If you study properly you can get good placements you can have better jobs and you can earn more.
