6th April 2018, Visakhapatnam: GITAM Admission Test (GAT-2018) is a computer-based online test conducted for admission to UG and PG Programs in Engineering, Pharmacy & Architecture by GITAM University. For the academic year 2018-19, the test will start on 11th April and will be continued up to 26th April 2018, said Prof. K. Narendra, Director-Admissions.

A candidate can choose his/her convenient test center, date and time. The admission test will be conducted in three slots every day. Morning slot starts at 9.00 AM, Mid-day slot at 12.00 Noon and the evening slot at 3.00 PM. It is a 2-hour duration test and candidates have to attempt 100 questions (Mathematics 40, Physics & Chemistry 30 each). Positive answer carries 4 marks and negative answer carries -1 marks. The score will be known immediately after completing the test.

Students can write the online admission test at GITAM Hyderabad Campus, Saifabad, Nagole, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad & Warangal centers in Telangana State and also at 48 other centers across India. The candidates can download their E-Hall-Tickets directly from GITAM’s official website. Test results (Ranks) will be announced on 30th April 2018.

Fee waiver of 100% is offered to top 10 rankers and 50% to top 11-100 rankers of GAT-2018. Merit-cum-Means Scholarships for B.Tech students, scholarships to all M.Tech., Aerospace Engineering, B.Pharm. M.Pharm. & M.Arch. students and Teaching Assistantship to M.Tech. students are also available.
