KRMU Students won a Cash Prize of $1000 at Alibaba Cloud Low-Code Development Contest 2022

Alibaba Cloud Low-Code Development Contest was a virtual solution building contest for professionals and students from India, Singapore, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, organized by Alibaba Cloud and IndiaSpark. In this contest candidates from both technical and non-tech backgrounds participated to build solutions with their own innovation and Alibaba Cloud’s low-code development tools, The cash prize for the same was $15,000 with exclusive merchandise.
ALIBABA CLOUD LOW CODE DEVELOPMENT CONTEST 2022 was held at KR Mangalam University in collaboration with Indiaspark and was held on 7th March 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Ms Roopa Tanti (Founder & CEO- IndiaSpark) quoted that “Low-Code Development is the current buzz around the emerging technologies platforms” and Universities like KRMU are empowering the students by further enabling campaigns, live projects and encouraging them to do better.
Dr Shweta Bansal (HOD, CSE) said that this competition greatly encouraged students to build solutions with their innovation by using Alibaba Cloud’s low-code development tools. A total of 75 students registered for this contest. The Faculty coordinators were Dr Shweta Bansal, Ms Monika Khatkar, and Ms Jyoti from the CSE department.
Dr Vineet Dahiya, Coordinator, SOET has said that this type of competition increased the coding skills of the students.
Two students of the CSE- VI Semester of SOET, Mr. Dev Watts won the second position at the national level with a cash prize of $1000 along with $1000 Alibaba Cloud credits.
Mr. Milind Udhav won the Innovation Award of $200 Alibaba Cloud Credits, with a shield.
K.R. Mangalam University also won the trophy of best Organizer among 150 universities. This contest was organized at the National level by Alibaba Cloud.
KRMU Alumni Joins Ivy League University with a scholarship of USD 15000

KR Mangalam University feels proud of our Alumni, Zuren Kikon, who has been selected for admission at an Ivy League University with a scholarship of USD 15000. Ivy League schools are consistently ranked among the top 20 national universities. This year, Princeton was ranked first, followed by Harvard, and both Columbia and Yale were ranked third. The University of Pennsylvania was ranked sixth, followed by Dartmouth (12th), Brown (14th), and Cornell (17th).
The Ivy League schools are also among the country's oldest institutions of higher learning. Except for Cornell, all were founded during the colonial era.
Because of their illustrious academic reputations, the Ivies have massive endowments in the form of donations and assets. Harvard's endowment surpassed $39 billion in 2018, making it the largest in American higher education. Yale, Princeton, Penn, and Columbia are also among the top ten. Zuren graduated from KRMU in 2020 as the gold medalist for Architectural Thesis. He will be pursuing a Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.

The School of Engineering and Technology, KRMU is enlightened to announce 2 days Hackathon event ”Hack KRMU” for budding engineers from 22 to 23 February 2022. The event is aimed to promote the culture of development and "hacking together" new ideas and solutions in the university. Rules and Guidelines for Hackathon Competition

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is the only recognized professional body in India to develop and regulate the profession of company secretaries of India. It is a national professional body set up under the act of parliament,The Company Secretary Act, 1980. ICSI functions under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The institute provides top class education to the students of Company Secretaries course and best quality standard to CS members.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Between KRMU and ICSI
KR Mangalam University, India, and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India has taken this initiative for the educational betterment of the students through various research, collaborations, and cultural programmes.
The two universities are promoting these opportunities for the betterment of the aspirants. Some of the basic points are discussed below:
- Jointly organising workshops and seminars, Continuing education and various Academic programmes for practising professions.
- Regular exchange of journals by the parties which may be of interest.

The Bialystok University of Technology (BUT) was established in 1949 and has a long tradition of educating young engineers and scientists. The University has 6 Faculties(Departments): Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Engineering Management. The university has cooperated with many academic centres all over the world and has over 500 bilateral agreements in scientific and educational cooperations.

KR Mangalam University, India, and the Bialystok University of Technology, Poland has taken this agreement for Cooperation in the field of modernization, standardization and adjustment of university curriculum and course of training and for educational betterment of the students through various research, collaborations, and cultural programmes.

- Introducing pool of author’s program as well as the courses/subjects in which either party take interest and extend the program for student exchange projects.
- Exchange of academic teachers, students and PhD student mobility.

- Introduction and implementation of joint engineering designs and technical expertise.
- Consultations and training sessions held under the cooperation.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Between KRMU and SUAI
KR Manglam University (KRMU), India, and Space University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), Russia has taken this initiative for the purpose of promoting educational research, academic collaborations and cultural programmes. The universities are delighted to have the opportunities to jointly work on various research projects that include:
- Participation of both the faculty and students in various research projects, cultural activities, multi-disciplinary learning and much more.
- Both the university will release a joint publication in various common areas of interest.
- Student experience will substantially increase as various seminars, conferences, webinars, workshops and FDPs will be hosted by both universities.
