Top 14 Universities from USA, UK, Australia & Canada visit LPU

Jalandhar, September 14, 2018: Creating the right opportunities for students desirous of studying abroad, Division of International Affairs at Lovely Professional University invited 14 top universities of the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Representatives of these universities provided info and details to the students about scholarships, programs, fee-structures, residences, and other assessments. Students had one to one interaction to get their queries solved.

This initiative was taken so that LPU students could be made aware of the right ways for studying abroad. For this, a centralized cell of International Affairs at LPU keeps on guiding students about prestigious opportunities for study abroad programs in top countries. This particular session was for the final year LPU students; those are going to be graduates in the year 2019.

Prior to this, many LPU students have already availed the coveted opportunity of getting an international education from 8 universities in France. While encouraging participating students for success-oriented studies and career ahead, Head Division of International Affairs at LPU Mr. Aman Mittal shared: “LPU keeps on offering its students coveted option of ‘International Exposure and Credit Transfer’ in multiple programs. Through such an allied program, LPU students not only save international fees but also become able to join top foreign universities.”

Mr. Mittal also advised other abroad going students to choose the right ways for joining foreign universities and save their money and time as well. Participating students admitted unanimously: “It was indeed a great informative and invitational experience. We couldn't have asked for more than that was provided to us. We are thankful to the International Department at LPU for bringing a vast studying abroad opportunity for us right at the campus.”

Illustrative, visiting six Australian universities included Edith Cowan, University of Sydney, Torrens, University of Tasmania, Victoria & Southern Cross University; five from the UK were University of Huddersfield, Edinburgh Napier, Coventry, University of Portsmouth and University of Central Lancashire; Kent State University was from the USA; Saint Lawrence from Canada; and, Lincoln University from New Zealand.
