Our curriculum is framed under UGC, and LOCF model.Educate with value-added courses suitable for industry or corporate sector. Internship, project training and practical exposure through the industrial visit are given to pupils.

How did you train faculty to deliver this program to the students in Vels University?

“Provide FDPs, ICT facilities and more are given to faculties to deliver courses for pupils”

Classes handled through ICT facility in our campus by faculties. Regular Faculty Development Programme organized by the department. Institution level FDP Course through SWAYAM/NPTEL are also available to faculties. 

How do you tend to build an industry connection with this program?

“Industrial visits,Workshops,conferences and more are provided in the campus”

Individual projects offered in the final year for pupils. They must participate in the compulsory internship training programme organized with an industrial expert as resource person. We organized Industrial visits,Workshops,Conference etc as a part of students .

What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program to the curriculum?

“To uplift corporate requirements is a difficult task for us”

This program is one of the branches of commerce easy to inculcate in our curriculum. But, imparting corporate requirements under the UGC, LOCF model is sometimes difficult for us.
