A Typical Day at IIM Lucknow starts with a Surprise Quiz or Lectures. Lectures usually start in the first half (for First-year Students) and continue till Afternoon or sometimes Evening. On a jam-packed day, Extra Lectures can be taken till 11 pm too. Evenings at IIM Lucknow can take any form of Activities / Events, preparing for Presentations etc. Surprise Quizzes are a part of daily life.

IIM Lucknow Library is also known as Gyanodaya Library. It has a rich collection of over 60,000 Learning Resources. The Library operates from a Spacious 30,000 sq.ft., 2-storied, Air conditioned building with a seating capacity of 250 Readers. The Library remains open from 9 am to 9:30 pm.

IIM Lucknow is a Fully-residential Institute, offering Housing Capabilities for more than 1000 Students and 75 Faculties. There are 128 air-conditioned rooms in IIM Lucknow Hostel.
