IIM Lucknow Postgraduate Program in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM) is a 2-year full-time, residential program that offers a Master in Business Administration - Agribusiness Management degree. Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for ST/ SC/ PwD) are eligible to apply for this program. IIM Lucknow charges INR 20,75,000 for the 2 years that includes all the facilities, no extra cost is incurred.
The admission into the program is based on the performance of candidates in the CAT exam, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). The CAT cut-off or admission into PGP ABM is overall 90 and 85 for sectional. The final selection will be done after WAT and PI round and other factors like academic performance, work experience, and diversity factors will also be considered.

It depends on the other options available to you. ABM graduates are eligible for many of the marketing and operations jobs that normal PGP students are. Choosing an ABM at any of the top IIMs (including IIM Lucknow) is a better option than a general MBA from a tier 2 business school. Even if you take a drop for CAT, it will be a waste of your year. In an MBA, your college tag makes a big difference. In the long run, the IIM tag will benefit your corporate career a lot.
