IIM Amritsar permanent campus is under construction. Meanwhile, IIM Amritsar is operating from its temporary campus at the Punjab Institute of Technology, which is well equipped with all the facilities like high technology classrooms, a library, and computer labs. There are also sports facilities and hostels are also available.

IIM Amritsar is being operated from its transit campus situated inside the Punjab Institute of Technology. The construction of the permanent campus is currently ongoing. The temporary campus is equipped with air-conditioned and IT-enabled classrooms, full wifi, library, auditorium, activity area, canteen, etc.

IIM Amritsar Hostel 

IIM Amritsar’s hostel is situated at a distance of 2 kilometres from the Airport in Blessing City. Students are given 2 or 3 BHK flats on a twin sharing basis in which they are equipped with a bed, chair, study table, cupboard, etc. Additional facilities such as geyser and wifi are also available. The hostel consists of a recreation room, TV room, gym, and sports facilities. The hostel mess serves a variety of cuisines to the students as breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. A Typical Day in IIM Amritsar

A Typical Day at IIM Amritsar begins at 6:30 AM. Students wake up in the morning, get ready for their classes, and also munch on their breakfast. The classes start at 9:15 AM and end at 4 PM. There are 4 interactions of 1 hour 15 minutes each with 1 hour of recess in between. After 5:30 PM in the evening when all the students are in their respective rooms, there are 4 interactions to prepare for the next day. There are several group activities and projects that students have to work upon, even at 10 PM.

IIM Amritsar is situated in Polytechnic Road, Amritsar. It is being operated from its transit campus while the construction of its permanent campus is in process. The transit campus is situated at a distance of 14 km from the airport and 5 km from the railway station and has easy access to them. The Golden Temple, Gobindgarh Fort, Sri Harmandir Sahib, etc. are some of the places to visit near IIM Amritsar.

IIM Amritsar Library has an innumerable collection of print materials as well as journals, electronic books, magazines, videos, cases, and newspapers. These can be accessed anytime from anywhere through RemoteXs. There are various e-resources too. The library is open from 9 AM to 5 PM every Monday to Friday.
