Ans. No. The international Immersion module is optional, and it also includes additional charges that need to be paid by the interested candidates. 

Ans. IIM Amritsar’s EMBA (physics mode) and EMBA (hybrid mode) is all similar in terms of course content, study material, attendance, and assessment. The only difference is the delivery of the program. IIM Amritsar (physical mode) is for those who are residing in New Delhi or in nearby regions, whereas the EMBA (hybrid mode) is for those who can’t attend physical classes.

Ans. No. IAAT is not compulsory for EMBA candidates. Only the candidates who have not appeared for exams like CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE will have to take the IAAT test.

Ans. IIM Amritsar’s EMBA application fee is INR 1500. Applicants who are appearing for IAAT will have to pay an additional entrance exam fee of INR 1000.

Ans. The students who are in the 4th semester of the B.Tech program at NIT Jalandhar are eligible to apply for the Integrated B.Tech + MBA program.

Ans. The IIM Amritsar’s MBA program is a 2-year full-time residential program. Whereas the IBM program is conducted in the hybrid mode, while the students reside in the NIT Jalandhar. The 2 years of the MBA course will be covered from the 5th to 8th semester of the engineering program. The faculty for IBM will be the same MBA faculties taking classes in IIM Amritsar. 

Ans. NIT Jalandhar 4th semester students will have to appear for the IIM Amritsar Entrance test (IET). 

Ans. IIM Amritsar Entrance Test (IET) will be a 120-minute exam and will have a structure similar to the CAT exam. It will include questions from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability. (QA). 

Ans. Yes. The IBM candidates will be shortlisted for the personal interview, based on their IET score, and their academic track record. 

Ans. Along with the B.Tech fees paid to NIT Jalandhar, the IBM students will have to pay the MBA fees at IIM Amritsar. The first-year MBA fees should be paid in 4 installments from semesters 5 to 8, and the second-year MBA fees will be paid in 3 installments in the 5th year of the program.

Ans. As of now, IIM Amritsar has signed two MoUs with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and the CFA Institute of the USA (CFA). The MoU allows the faculty and students of IIM Amritsar to use the library and other informational resources of ICSI and also use the IIM Amritsar facilities to engage in training in collaboration with ICSI.

IIM Amritsar has become the official university alliance partner now with the CFA Institute of the USA. The alliance helps the institute strengthen and align its Finance curriculum with the internationally recognized CFA certification program.

IIM Amritsar has also initiated a joint collaboration with the Kedge Business School of France to enable its students to pursue joint degree programs with the Kedge Business School. The IIM Amritsar global immersion program is subject to the student meeting the admission requirements of both institutes. The final draft MoU is exchanged and once approved by Kedge Business School, the MoU will be signed.

Ans. No. The IIM Amritsar IBM students will not be allowed to sit in the NIT Jalandhar placements. They will be allowed to sit for the IIM Amritsar MBA placements in the 5th year.

Ans. Upon successful completion of the IBM program, the candidates will be awarded an Integrated Bachelor of Technology and Master of Business Administration Degree jointly by NIT Jalandhar and IIM Amritsar.

Ans. The IBM students will have to stay in the NIT Jalandhar hostel till the 4th year and will have to shift to the IIM Amritsar hostel in the 5th year.
