What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
“Passion to provide a proper guiding path to students for a strong career”
I believe that real counseling, which is my passion, makes me connected to the sector. Proud to say that I have had the fortune of counseling more than 2 lac students over my career in various modes. In my own time, there were very few people to guide the generation for their careers, this makes me feel immense satisfaction when I counsel the students and eventually they make successful careers.
What is your philosophy of leadership?
“I firmly believe in team-work and hence try to provide equal opportunities to everyone”
I normally include the opinions and research of team members and stakeholders in the key decisions. I have my own ideas to keep the teams motivated and become high performing units with time. I try to keep myself and my teams updated and trained to for the upcoming future changes,

“By keeping in mind the mission, vision and business values of our institution”
The key strategies for all the units are made in coherence with the overall vision of the group and some key basis taken for the decisions are Overall experience to the student, research, my strategies revolve around providing the value for money holistic education to students while maintaining the quality of overall delivery.

I believe the most important points to make career decisions are interest and aptitude. You need to identify both of them and then proceed accordingly. The peer group or peer pressure which plays on the minds of the youth and adolescents is the least important factor to take decision of career. So, before taking a plunge it makes perfect sense to get in touch with a good career counsellor.

It is human nature to have a difference of opinion, the difference of opinions is encouraged by me, this catalyzes the environment for innovation and new ideas.
