Mr. Manoj Kumar Chachan, the Chairman & Founder of the Lord’s University, is a dynamic visionary, capable of translating his dreams into reality. Because of his missionary zeal and dedication towards education, he first launched an engineering college. Later developed several other professional colleges, schools & hospitals. With his constant efforts and undaunted zeal, he established Lords University in 2018 and brought all the courses running in the Lords group under Lords University. He aspires for the future development of the youth and believes quality education is the key to their progress and evolution.

What do you think are your responsibilities towards the university and the students?

Our attention is focused on producing competent individuals who can meet the requirements of global employers. Lords University raises the bar of equality in education with numerous scholarships for meritorious students. All essential infrastructure requirements, as well as course requisites, are timely updated so that students don’t face any deficiency in their learning process. 

What are the major challenges that you have faced in your professional career? 

“The issues of bureaucracy and tedious official processes are still huge hurdles in this sector”

Facing challenges and overcoming them becomes crucial for growth in any field. My professional career in the education sector had hurdles too and even today many things have to be revamped and restructured according to recent times. A major challenge in this field is dealing with bureaucracy and red-tapism regularly. 

Another challenge was to bridge the now widening gap between high potential students and good quality education to help students realize their dreams and goals. 

My team and I work rigorously to bridle these issues and honestly serve society.

What has been your vision for this institute?

“Establish a student-centric institute working with full dedication for their well being”

I wish to bring possible reforms in the education sector. Also, a change in the frame of mind of natives of the Alwar region so that people here start valuing higher education. Allowing children to get a standard platform for their queries & doubts. 

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

“Trying to impart skill-based knowledge and not just focus on bookish concepts”

The biggest challenge in education, in general, is replacing Degree-focused with Knowledge-focused individuals. Lords Group particularly works to acknowledge individuals with contemporary awareness and willingness to provide true service to students. Introducing this novel concept and gaining support for the same is a big challenge for Lords University. 

How does Lords ensure theoretical and practical knowledge together?
