You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Stay connected with campus culture and students widely”

I am totally connected with the education sector and students of our college. I have nearly about 10 yr of experience and am still studying different books. I used to remember all the students' names who had studied under me. It helps me to connect with all of them. 

How does the curriculum of Prabhat Jyotirmoyee Educational Research Institute ensure the best practice of industry?

“Enrich with practical knowledge and other add-on courses”

Our campus is one of the top colleges in Birbhum. We come in the top 5 under in the university. We have courses like BA + BEd. & BSc.+ BEd. 4yr integrated course. Also, other Honors along with BEd. & D.Ed.is provided from campus. These courses are available in 7 other colleges but are currently operated in 4 colleges only. Of those 4 colleges, our college is on top rank. Because the number of students available in our college is doubled compared to all other colleges. We have designed our curriculum in a way that helps us to fill all the seats in the very first month of the academic year. When our seats in the college get filled up then only the other colleges get the chance to fill their seats. Our curriculum is designed not only for the bookies' learning but also enriched with practical knowledge. When the students go out into the teaching industry with our degree, it helps them to set a strong career because of our popularity. 

What do you think your roles and responsibilities are to the Prabhat Jyotirmoyee Educational Research Institute and students?

“Provide all facilities, design the curriculum and focus on student welfare”

I am solely responsible for student welfare. We design the curriculum and explain to them the benefits of our courses & degree. I am aware of all these things. Not only the study part, but also how you can manage your daily life. Because to know each & every student you have to understand about their background. It is easy to understand them when you know their psychology. I am 100% dedicated to our students. I am there to provide all those facilities which they can have in our college.

What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?

“Friendly environment, and pupils get complete knowledge of course from the campus”

First thing is the environment of the college attracts most pupils.. When the students enter the college he/she will find greenery everywhere which charges the students. The environment of the college makes them happy. When the students came at the time for admission the environment changed their minds & they ended up taking admission to our college. We also focus on the way of teaching & ensure that students will get a complete knowledge of the course. The environment & the teaching is the best among all the other colleges. 

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

“Be positive, face challenges and establish a strong career in life”

The students nowadays get demoralized by the difficulties. They should be mentally strong or focused and be positive. You all have to face challenges in your life. So, be bold & face the challenges upfront. These all things help them to establish a strong career in their life.

“Education quality and teachers is our greatest strength” 

Our college's greatest strength is the quality of education we are providing here. The way our teacher completes the designed curriculum on time is commendable. This helps the student to score good marks in the exams. Students are totally satisfied with the quality of education. 

When you first came to Prabhat Jyotirmoyee Educational Research Institute, what was your vision for the university and how far along in implementing that vision?

“To provide quality education, teamwork and development of campus are our primary vision”

I joined this college 7 years ago. My vision is to provide quality education to all students enrolled in our college. Our vision is based on hard work, teamwork, and a high level of responsibility. Students are given a thorough knowledge and build a foundation in both the theoretical/practical aspects of teaching. Development of self-confidence and self-discipline, sensitization to social and environmental needs, commitment to the goals of the National Educational Policy are other missions. The vision has evolved over time & we will be on top colleges.
