What are your thoughts on the current education system? 

“The active participation of parents is required in the education system”

The examination system is sound but needs to be launched at an online platform to speed up evaluation at a more transparent level. Fund deficiency is visible at all levels of development. The student-teacher ratio is high and needs deduction in the balance. Recently the New Education Policy has been introduced and been made mandatory for all Higher Education Institutes. I hope that this bridges the gap between the industry and the institution.

Could you please highlight the functioning aspects of your college? 

“We ensure that our students are abreast to current industry trends”

We are a Hotel Management Institute where the students learn about the hotel's core departments like food production, restaurant, etc., with hands-on training under mentorship. Execution of student-centric teaching-learning Execution of extension activities monitoring the continual research development and maintaining the conducive atmosphere strengthening the sports facilities.

What are some of the future goals of your college? 

“Our plan is to become an institute of prime excellence”

As the institution's head, I target to bring my institution's name to the India Books of Records. We are also planning to develop some start-up business plans where our students can get benefited. We ensure to strengthen the research institutes – industry – college linkages and collaborations. To establish a new research center and increase research activities, it is essential to cope with modern society and industry needs. To strengthen the sports, infrastructural, library, ICT, and support service facilities for the overall development of students.

What is your advice to the students who are pursuing their graduation?

“Students should work towards achieving their goals”

Have a set aim and indulge yourself completely in it. It is the small message I want to give the students. These students just will not be just job-seeking but will be entrepreneurs. Postgraduate students are the pillars of a research-driven ecosystem. Impactful research is the need of the growing Indian economy.
