GNDU Amritsar UG & PG Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is June 27

New Delhi: Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has begun the application process for the undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @gndu.ac.in by June 27, 2022 

GNDU, Amritsar offers UG and PG courses in various specialisations including Science, Arts, Management, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Environment, Planning and Architecture. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till June 27, 2022. 

Admission to all the UG and PG courses offered at GNDU shall be made on the basis of Entrance Test, GNDU GMET 2022 conducted by University or the tests/counselling conducted at state or National level or on the basis of the merit of qualifying examination, as the case may be.

Different departments of the university offer the UG and PG courses. Candidates seeking admissions into these courses are required to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are mentioned below. 

GNDU, Amritsar UG & PG Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses: 

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM & English and secured at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
• For admission to B.Tech(Lateral Entry) courses, candidates must have passed two years Diploma after 10+2- or three-years Diploma after matriculation examination in the relevant subject (Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/ Information Technology) from a State Technical Board. 
• Admissions to B.Tech courses are done on merit in Entrance Test/JEE Main.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in relevant specialisation with at least 50% marks or more (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate from recognized university/ institute. 
• Admission to the other PG courses are done based on the merit obtained in the entrance exam. 
• Admissions to M.Tech courses is done based on the GATE scores or merit in Entrance Test conducted by University. 

GNDU, Amritsar UG & PG Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's Admission will be made on the basis of AIR JEE Main for both 85% quota for residents of Punjab and 15% quota for outside Punjab. 

• Candidate's admission will be made on merit of the candidate in the Joint Entrance Test to be conducted by the respective Head of the Department. 
• All the candidates being admitted through an entrance test or otherwise shall be required to appear for interview/counselling that will be held at GNDU Campus by the Coordinator 

GNDU, Amritsar UG & PG Admission 2022]: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of GNDU @www.gndu.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1300 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

On successful application submission, Admit card bearing all the details such as date, time and venue of entrance test shall be generated to the candidates. The Admit card appearing in GNDU GMET 2022 entrance test as well as on counselling.
