Anagha Wankhede, IIM Nagpur communication and media cell in-charge on behalf of the director, LS Murty has stated that the pandemic has affected their plan this year because of which there has been a delay in meeting targets. “However, We are trying our best to meet targets as early as possible and also shift our campus by November,” he added.

The new campus is spread over 132 acres in Mouza Dahegaon and would cater nearly 600 candidates as per the infrastructural requirements in the first phase.

The campus comprises academic buildings, administrative blocks, Executive Education Program (EEP). Additionally, there are 4 multipurpose halls, dining halls, hostel blocks and staff and sports facilities etc.

In the session 2015-16, there were around 60 intakes from VNIT (Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology) and then thereafter in 2018-19, IIM Nagpur doubled its intake to 120 and now again it has doubled to 240 in the year 2020-21.

He also added that an exponential growth for the institute is quite mandatory but it could never have been possible to contribute to the nation and sustainability of the campus and the actual intake is very close to the planned intake.
