Lexicon MILE, Pune launched Lexicon Cares Program in April 2020 to raise awareness, safety and security for all citizens during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

What is Lexicon Cares Program?

Lexicon Cares was started in April 2020 with the initiative of focusing on the following objectives:

1. To create an environment that is responsible, accountable and safe
2. A program for all stakeholders from students, faculty, team members to vendors
3. Helping Each Other
4. Guidelines for New Normal
5. Support the efforts of our government in fighting COVID-19
6. To create an environment of fearless learning

Lexicon Cares has since its establishment has made the following efforts:

• Covid-19 Coverage for Hospitalization
• Pre-Existing Diseases Covered
• Cashless Facility across India in a pool of Hospitals

Accidental Coverage:

• Term Coverage of INR 1 Lakh

Vaccination:

• Facilitating Vaccination for all our students
• Already, Faculty vaccination is close to being completed
• Students are encouraged to register for their vaccination

Lexicon Cares suggests people should think as if every other person around them is an asymptomatic carrier of the COVID-19 virus and not to take this situation lightly at any cost. Keeping this in mind, one should follow thee guidelines at any cost:

• Wear a Mask
• Follow Social distancing norms
• Avoid Contact with Each Other
• Do not touch your eyes, nose, mouth, or face
• Wash your hands regularly
• Use Sanitizer
• Do not touch objects or surfaces which you don’t need
• Prefer Namaste over Shaking Hands or Hugging
• Avoid smoking and sharing a smoke
• Build your immunity
• Eat Healthy
• Get yourself sleep of 7-9 hours daily

Steps to be Taken while Visiting Lexicon MILES

When Leaving from Home:

• Sanitize your hands, carry sanitizer with yourself 
• Wear a Mask
• Sanitize what you touch during the ride (e.g. in your car)
• Year Office ID
• Check Temperature, if high stay at home and consult a doctor

When Arriving at Lexicon MILES

• Use Staircases 3 Flights Up and 4 Flights Down
• In case you are using the elevators, maintain social distancing
