New Delhi: The University of Madras has begun the application process for admission to Distance Education for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates seeking admission to the courses can apply online through the official website unom.ac.in 

Madras University offers several courses distance education courses in undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, MBA degrees, and Diploma or Certificate courses.

Candidates who have not received their results can also apply for these courses at Madras University, but they need to achieve the minimum score required for application and provide the result at the time of counselling. 

Admission to Madras University has begun. Candidates who are eligible and interested can apply online on the website till July 15, 2022.

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for admission to the courses here: 

• Aspiring candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in respective disciplines from any recognized university for admission to PG and MBA courses. For admission to UG or Diploma courses candidates must pass Higher-Secondary or 12th examination from a recognized board. 
• Candidates pursuing their final year exams / waiting for their results are also eligible to apply. However, they must have maintained the minimum marks required for admission.

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the last qualification.
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the counselling rounds.

Madras University Distance Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Madras University at unom.ac.in and click on the distance education tab. 
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc. by clicking on Register Here. 
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee of 236 INR and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
