Your decision completely depends on your priority as to what is the most important to you, the branch or the college. Being a graduate from NIT Agartala, I would suggest you go for NIT Agartala rather than NIT Mizoram.

• If college is the most important to you then you should go for NIT Agartala. The infrastructure is far better than most of the NITs.
• You may have to face some trouble regarding the faculties as they are not up to the mark.
• If the branch is your priority go for ECE, however, Production Engineering also has grown as a department. You can make your careers in Supply Change, Quality Management, and Control, etc.
• Other than this, your choice should depend upon the location. Give preference to the one that's closer to your home.
• Both the colleges are tier 3 Indian engineering colleges and the graduates have been working in companies with a package of 3 to 4 lakhs per annum.

Both branches are equally good in their own ways. But ultimately it is your decision to choose where you want to study. It is suggested that you go for NIT Agartala as it is a more experienced institution than NIT Mizoram.

EEE and ECE are both totally different branches and both of them have their respective job opportunities. After a lot of research, I got to know about NIT Meghalaya and Nagaland. Let me discuss them, which might give you a better idea.

• In today’s world ECE has more opportunities in the private sectors whereas EEE has got more opportunities in government sectors.
• They also have different requirements for the jobs.
• In ECE you just need to maintain a good CGPA, with the basics fully memorized and you are good to go.
• For EEE and getting a government job like PSU, you need to apply for GATE and get a good rank and score.
• Placement in the ECE stream is easier than the EEE stream.
• The placements of NIT Meghalaya are a little above Nagaland.
• You can change your course in NIT Meghalaya to ECE even after selecting EEE in the first semester.

The most important thing is to make a choice based on your preference of course rather than the institute name since both of them are on equal terms in all aspects.

It is unfair to compare IIIT Allahabad with NIT Hamirpur. If you take a look at the closing cutoff for IIIT Allahabad and NIT Hamirpur, the difference will be clear.

If you have the option to choose IIIT Allahabad, go for it without giving it a second thought. Now if you clear the cutoff for IT at IIIT A, you will be eligible for ECE as well.

Before deciding on any institute you should analyze it based on different parameters. Check if the college provides good facilities like hostels equipped with a good and stable internet connection, good food, satisfactory infrastructure, and the most important, a good campus placement drive. Both IIIT Allahabad and NIT Durgapur offer above-average facilities. Here is a brief outline of the institute.

IIIT Allahabad and MNIT Jaipur are institutes of national importance. But if you like coding, it's not wise to search for options in ECE. ECE is a hardware-related program dealing with communication, whereas CS deals with software.

For the NIT tag, you can choose SVNIT. Among the IIITs, the best will be IIIT Bangalore ad it provides the best research opportunities. But, the best choice as per your interest is B.Tech Hons. Computational Sciences from DA-IICT.
