If you get an F grade in LPU semester exams, you must register for the backlog exam. A failing grade, or F grade, is awarded after five attempts, or after five E grades. A backlog course's registration fee equals one-tenth of your semester's total fees (scholarship excluded).

Yes, you can get direct admission at LPU with just 10+2 marks. But you will have to keep in mind that only if you have 90% above in your 10+2, then you will get a full scholarship. The LPU NEST examination is for scholarship benefit only. The students who pass the LPU NEST get an extra 5000 scholarship per semester. The LPU NEST examination is a good chance at getting a scholarship for people who do not have 90% above in their 10+2. However, I would recommend you to sit for the LPU NEST examination as well even if you get 90% above in 10+2. If you pass the examination then you will get extra Rs 5000.
