Which is better CE at NIT Trichy or Mech. at MNNIT, Allahabad?
Some of my friends studied at MNNIT, so I might be able to answer your question. It is suggested that you choose Mechanical at MNNIT Allahabad rather than Civil at NIT Trichy.
Your branch of choice is more important than your college preference. In terms of opportunities, Mechanical Engineering has a slight advantage over Civil Engineering

For placements, IIIT Lucknow will be bast. But if you are interested in Mechanical then MNNIT Allahabad will be a better option. Although you should keep in mind that from the future perspective Mechanical will be a risky choice. Jobs are very less in the core sector and the package will be less. The competition is also quite high in both the public and private sectors.

You should prefer MTech CSE at DTU. It offers better facilities. The infrastructure and hostel facilities of DTU are great. Located in the heart of Delhi, it offers better exposure to the industry. It is comparably easier to receive live projects, internships, and placement opportunities. Companies such as Microsoft, Wipro, Cisco, etc. take part in DTU placements. The average CTC for MTech CSE students is around INR 10 LPA - 12 LPA.
I am confused between NSIT Delhi (ECE) and MNNIT Allahabad (ECE) .What should I choose?

How is the faculty of IT at MNNIT? Which has a better faculty, IT at MNNIT or at IIIT Allahabad?
Since my friend is an alumnus of IIIT Allahabad, she will be well suited to talk about the faculty of the institute.
All the teaching staff of IIIT Allahabad is Ph.D. holders from institutes that are reputed, for example, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, etc. Some of them have received their Ph.D. from institutes like the University of Reading, UK. So it goes without saying that the faculty members have expertise in their respective areas of teaching.
The teaching style of the faculty is the same as that of other institutes like the IITs and/or IISc. They teach during the class. If you have doubts, you can ask the faculty and they will be very happy to resolve the same. They are very supportive.
Don’t make faculty a major deciding factor for choosing an institute. Both IIIT Allahabad and MNNIT are reputed institutes in the field of IT.
How good is the chemistry department at MNNIT Allahabad?
If you are a good and hardworking student then it is the best option for you, but if you are not very dedicated then it can turn into a bad choice for you. One of my cousins studied here and according to him, there are certain things you need to keep in mind before joining.
- To secure high marks in exams, you will have to answer according to the teachers’ approach, which means that you will have to think from his point of view.
- Focus on the points that they discuss in class. You should try to give point-to-point answers.
- Also, a neatly drawn diagram for the answers will help you in scoring more.
- You will necessarily have to maintain your attendance above 75% if you want to appear in the exams.
- The rules are strict and hence, no consideration if your attendance is below 75%.
- The facilities in the institution are good. You will surely enjoy your classes.
Thus, it is suggested that you go for it if you are confident about pursuing the subject and think you will do a great job pursuing it. Overall the college is a bit strict, but in the long run it helps.
Which one is better, NIT Calicut or MNNIT Allahabad? Why?
MNNIT Allahabad is better.
- The campus is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The classrooms are air-conditioned.
- Alumni of this institute are working in various leading tech firms, PSUs, and Govt. bodies.
- According to the recent statistics, MNNIT Allahabad placements have been quite good. During the 2021 placement drive, the average and highest CTC received by the students was INR 51.75 LPA and INR 19.08 LPA, respectively.
MNNIT Allahabad will be especially good if you are thinking of joining the CSE branch.
Which should I choose, MNNIT Allahabad, MNIT Jaipur or PEC Chandigarh for CSE if home state is not a problem?
MNNIT Allahabad has recently placed more than 2000 students in top companies like HP, HCL, Adobe and Oracle. Out of 167 students 163 were placed from the CSE department.
MNIT Jaipur is approved by AICTE and MHRD. It is funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
PEC Chandigarh is one of the pioneer engineering institutes in Punjab ranking 68th among the top engineering colleges as per NIRF ranking 2020.

PEC Chandigarh
- The candidates must have a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 with PCM and valid score in JEE Main.
- The cutoff required is 3282 - 7074.
- The total seats allocated is 37 per department.
- The course fee required is INR 96,750.
Placements:
- MNNIT Allahabad saw the participation of 1174 students in the campus drive of 2019 and out of which 792 students got jobs.
- MNIT Jaipur maintains an excellent placement record every year. A total of 417 students have been placed from both the UG and PG programs. Around 160+ companies visited the campus in 2019.
