Lastly, for admission under management quota, you will have to pay INR 50000 as tuition fees and INR 10000 as building fund.

The total course fee for MBBS at CMC Ludhiana and CMC Vellore (for unpaid, non-management candidates) is given below:
College Name | 1st Year MBBS Fees |
---|---|
CMC Vellore | INR 56,330 |
CMC Ludhiana | INR 6.60 lakh (as last updated in 2023) |
The first-year MBBS fee at CMC Vellore is INR 56,330. The breakdown of amount is:
The first-year MBBS fee at CMC Ludhiana is INR 6.60 lakh. This is the total course fee for non-management candidates at CMC Vellore and CMC Ludhiana. The amount does not include the hostel fee and other living expenses.
About CMC Vellore & CMC Ludhiana: CMC Vellore is a private medical college, established in 1942. It is 3rd in the NIRF 2023 Medical Ranking. CMC Ludhiana, on the other hand, is ranked 42nd.
Before I talk about the worth of private B Schools like IMT/IMI/XIMB, let’s consider their average packages.
B School |
Average Package |
IMT |
INR 17.35 LPA |
IMI Delhi |
INR 17.01 LPA |
XIMB |
INR 20 LPA |
The average package of government colleges like IITs and DSE is slightly less around INR 10.57 LPA. So the point is if you are ready to invest a hefty amount in B Schools, you will not regret the decision as they are game changers. The level of exposure and diversity is almost higher than in Government colleges. IITs, DFS and DSE MBAs have a more theoretical approach than a practical one. However, the figures for private B schools are inflated so do consider the ups and downs.
The final decision is up to you. Try to find what exactly you want from MBA
Make a well-informed decision after proper research.
Everyone has a different definition of worth. In my opinion, IMT Ghaziabad is worth getting admission at under the following circumstances
In fact if right harnessed, IMT Ghaziabad has many excellent opportunities to offer. It’s a well-established institute and among the top B Schools in the country. Established as early as 1980, it has an elaborate alumni network. So if you are true to yourself and your career this B School will help you climb to the top gradually.
The total fees for IPM are nearly 20 lacs, but the returns will also be equivalent to the invested amount. You will be getting an IIM Degree and a chance to study with some of the best brains in the country.
There are many banks that will finance your education. Banks usually provide full education loans for students. Canara bank provides a full educational loan without any collateral. There are some scholarships as well such as the NBFA scholarship that are given to students of IPM.
But it is important to remember that the course will make them a better future if the candidate is ready to work hard and conquer all the challenges.

An additional fee under the name of Alumni Associaion Membership of INR 1000 is also charged at the end of the last semester.
One of my friends is an alumnus of Malla Reddy. He passed out recently and according to him the management fees for ECE were 8 lakhs.
He advises joining Malla Reddy college if you are really passionate about engineering, because the image of doing engineering that is imprinted on our mind from society, media and movies is not 100% true. Engineering days are not as happy or relaxed as it is portrayed. If you have a good percentage till 4th year you will be placed in IT companies for tech support, system management, or admin-related posts and if you are not placed then they will send you to amazon or uber BPO jobs interviews in college.
So, the institute if you are genuinely interested in engineering. As you can simply get placed in tech support jobs in Dell, Amazon, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. through walk-in interviews. So, don’t waste your parent’s money or your precious 4 years unless you are sure.
