MNNIT Allahabad offers good CSE. In terms of opportunities, MNNIT CSE is at par with top NITs (and even some IITs). As for course curriculum and faculty, these are almost equally good at all top engineering colleges. During 2023 placements, the highest package for CSE at MNNIT was 1.35 CPA, and the average package was 27.57 LPA. SE is comparatively easier than CSE or IT, but it offers similar placement opportunities to its students. SE students are eligible for companies seeking CSE/IT students.
Both the colleges are highly reputed, and you can choose either of them for your B.Tech studies.
For BBA, SCMS Noida is the best college. But like B.Com, after BBA you won’t be eligible for a job.
SCMS Noida is not comparable with SCMS Pune as it is an old institution and has a different level of reputation. Along with that, the students of SCMS Pune have a better peer group than SCMS Noida which affects the environment of SCMS Pune. As there are good students in SCMS Pune, it develops a healthy competition on campus.
SCMS Noida does have a locational advantage as it gives you exposure to Delhi NCR industrial zone.
If you are considering BBA, you can also keep Christ University as an alternative.
According to my friends at DAIICT, it is definitely a better choice among the two. Considering factors like placement, brand reputation, and coding culture.
The points below give a brief overview of some of the advantages of choosing DAIICT over SVNIT.
Categories |
CSE at SVNIT |
ICT at DAIICT |
Course Fee |
5.47 lakh |
7.28 LPA |
Placement Percentage |
90% |
95% |
Highest CTC |
35-40 LPA |
43 LPA |
Average CTC |
10-12 LPA |
19 LPA |
Therefore, it is clear that DAIICT is a much better choice, especially in subjects like CS and IT. In DAIICT, there is a high exposure in higher studies among students. There is a good environment for competitive coding too in DAIICT. In every notable coding contest from platforms like Codeforces, Codechef, etc, there are at least 30-40 participants from DAIICT.
NM College BMS is a better option compared to NMIMS BBA. The course fee is nominal. The total course fee for the 3-year long course is around INR 84,000. While NMIMS BBA total fees are around INR 9.30 lakhs. NM College placements are good. The median CTC offered was INR 4 LPA during the recent placement drive. The ROI is definitely better compared to NMIMS BBA.
I have a few friends from KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, so I can give you some insight into their BMS course.
KJ Somiya is not a good option if you really want to pursue BMS for knowledge and not just for the sake of a degree. The teaching experience for BMS at KJ Somiya will not be satisfactory.
If you prefer knowledge over a degree, then you should go to some other better colleges such as MCC in Mulund. But, if you just want a degree in BMS then you can opt for KJ Somaiya. KJ Somaiya has a huge campus. This is advantageous if you want to bunk lectures and have fun sometimes.
I’ll be sharing with you my opinion on both.
As a 6-year MCh candidate, you’ll rotate through 10 months of general surgery. However, general surgery skills aren’t of much use in Neurosurgery, except the very basic knot-tying and suturing skills. You can also acquire those from dedicated lab practice. The other techniques followed in Neurosurgery are very different from those followed in general surgery.
Neurosurgeons generally use access surgeons (thoracic surgeons or urologists) to perform unconventional approaches to the spine. It is much safer for the patient. Also, opting for a 6-year course after MBBS means one less entrance exam.
So it isn’t very beneficial for you to take up 3 years of MS general surgery. I would recommend you choose the direct 6 year Mh Neurosurgery course at AIIMS or NIMHANS instead.
It’s highly illogical to compare a well-recognized brand like ISB with a no-name institute like IBS. It seems you are a bit confused between the 2 schools because comparing them is a literal joke.
ISB is ranked 1st in India and 4th in Asia and 32nd in the World at Best B Schools. It’s a B School that competes with top B schools like IIM ABC and here you are comparing it with a C grade B school in the country.
Almost anyone can get into IBS owing to the low qualifying scores needed and high number of seats available. Whereas getting into ISB is difficult even with a GMAT score as high as 99 percentile. ISB has the best corporate relations team in India and they work hard to get the roles that you want in the corporate sector.
The two colleges may share the same alphabet in their acronyms but there are nowhere similar when it comes to the brand name and worth.
Honestly speaking, it might be very difficult to secure admission in the aforementioned B Schools with low academic scores. However, these are not the only B schools in India providing excellent Management education. These B Schools require a decent academic background with a good CAT score. The list is as follows
Please bear in mind that getting admission to any BSchool depends on your individual profiles and not on the policies of the institute.
Among these NIT Calicut is better. Being an NIT it offers better resources and facilities. It offers well-equipped lab facilities. The campus library has a good collection of reference books. Students are also provided with digital library facilities. NIT Calicut also has a better industry reach. As a student of the institute, you will get better exposure and networking opportunities.
NIT Calicut placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 12.1 LPA. Mercedes Benz, Traceable AI, Ola Mobility, etc. were among the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive.
Usually, people consider IIM ABC better than FMS. Some parameters on the basis of which people usually compare these colleges are
You can use these parameters to decide which is a better B School for you.
