Usually, the placement starts at the end of summer vacation after the 6th semester, around the end of July. Companies start visiting for recruitment from the start of fourth year. Some companies that offer internships to 3rd-year students, may offer pre-placement options to some students. You can expect placement at PES University to start from the 6th semester.
Yes, you can get a good job offer. But NIT will have little to do with that, it entirely depends on how much effort you will put in
If you find yourself having difficulty in getting along with the faculty then there are always coaching classes you can attend after college. The internet also can be a big help. If your performance in a semester does not meet your expectations, do not lose heart and have faith in your abilities. Learn from your mistakes and try to do better in your next semester.
You mostly have to have knowledge of the programming languages, have aptitude skills, and prowess in English. The companies visiting the college to offer jobs to its students do not care about how much they got in their 10(+2) board examinations but they do not recruit in large numbers as they are not MNCs.
According to the recent placement statistics the average and highest CTC offered at the institute is 3.5 LPA and 10 LPA.
Great Lakes, Gurgaon is growing and making progress as an institute. The management puts in extra efforts intending to make it one of the desired B-schools of the country. One of my friends studied there and according to him, the placements are really good.

It will not be fair to compare BITS Pilani and BIT Sindri. There is no collation between both of the colleges, and BITS Pilani is way ahead in terms of all factors such as Placement, Infrastructure, Educational, Ambience, Labs, etc. despite being a Private college.
BITS Pilani is compared with IITs. On the other hand, BIT Sindri is newly established and comes under Government College in Jharkhand and is guided and run by the state government.
Here are some statistics regarding the institute which may help you differentiate the institutes.

Yes absolutely, people from CS & IT background do get placed in the supply chain department. My brother is a former student of NITIE and currently working as a Supply chain manager at Amazon.
As a matter of fact, if you look at the profiling of any batch, more than 60% of students are from IT background and most of the roles in NITIE are for supply chain management.
Moreover, companies are not distinct on this basis because not many students anyways have experience in the supply chain & secondly it's more based on knowledge you possess and how you present yourself on the day of the interview.
And most importantly, work experience is just one element of your overall profile. There are other elements like internships, Weekend projects, College grades, certifications completed and other achievements etc.
According to the experience of one of my friends, there is no job guarantee that the university provides to the students.
Last but not least we can say don't rush for the job only after your degree, firstly prepare yourself for attaining that level and then dream of getting a respectable job.
I have a few friends from Vel Tech University and here is their insight regarding the placements at the institute.
The placement cell in the institute plays a pivotal role in inviting top-tier companies to the campus. Also, career guidance programs are held almost twice every week. There are highly professional teachers who conduct online exams to help students understand the various corners of the market demands. Overall, you will have decent placement opportunities at the institute.
Usually, an experienced person is offered a better package than a fresher. But there is no separate information provided by the Institute for the placements of freshers.
You can check here for information on BIMTECH Placements
Chandigarh University is a very reputed and popular university and it offers good placement opportunities to students of BE CSE Big Data & Analytics.
Hence, the placements of Chandigarh University are excellent and there are tremendous opportunities available in the big data field.
Here is some information on this subject-
PESU offers good placements for B.Tech CS. But because of a very large batch size, its average package comes down. The top 100 B.Tech CS students of PESU easily grab a package of 10 LPA+.
But IIITB is a better choice. It offers better faculty, peer group, placements, etc. Though PESU has a large campus, a lot of it is under construction.
I would recommend you choose iMtech at IIIT Bangalore, especially if you are not planning for a Masters’ abroad.
