Both the colleges, BIT Mesra and NIT Raipur are two profound colleges of the nation but comparing them based on different branches is not justified.

Talking about the mechanical and computer science branch, the scope of computer science is the higher and mechanical branches.

Choosing between the two, opt for NIT Raipur, CSE branch due to the scope of the particular domain.

One of my friends studied Computer Science Engineering at UPES, Dehradun. So let me share his experience about UPES. This might give you a basic understanding.

• UPES Dehradun runs a wide number of courses in the CS branch.
• The branch has good facility computer labs with skilled faculty members.
• UPES has many clubs and societies for CS students that you can join as per your interest.
• Coding culture is really good at UPES Dehradun.
• The institute has a very peaceful and cooperative environment.

Therefore, a B.Tech in computer science engineering from UPES Dehradun is a good option. Your placement depends on your hard work, skills, communication, and impressive resume.

BIET Jhansi is a government college whereas JSS Noida is a private college. I have heard a lot about JSS Noida as my brother graduated from this college last year. JSS being a private college charges a higher amount than BIET.

Both of the colleges are good enough to take admission but let’s compare it with a few factors.

1. The infrastructure of BIET isn’t up to the mark whereas JSS Noida is well-maintained and has a beautiful campus that includes greenery as well.
2. The hostel services and the premises of BIET are cheaper and aren’t well-furnished.
3. As Jhansi is in Bundelkhand and it is a small city, BIET doesn’t provide good facilities because of its location.
4. On the contrary, the students of JSS Noida have the access to prepare for any other competitive exams like CAT, UPSC, GATE, CSE, ESE, GMAT/GRE and many more.
5. Noida is near Ghaziabad, which is the NCT of Delhi and many coaching institutes run in Ghaziabad.
6. This fortunate opportunity isn’t available for the students of Jhansi.

Moreover, the facilities of JSS Noida are better than BIET Jhansi. So it is suggested that you go for JSS Noida over BIET Jhansi.

• Campus & Facilities- IIIT Lucknow being a new campus needs time to fully function and for good sports facilities. IIT Guwahati has a permanent campus and welly developed sports facilities.

• Infrastructure- Labs of IIIT Guwahati are well established and all the types of equipment you need for practicals and research are there.
• Location- The IIIT Lucknow area is being developed so you will only find rubble there while near the IIITG construction of IT Park will boost the internships and placements of IIITG.
• At IIIT Guwahati you will gain good industrial knowledge other than the academic part.
• Placements- CSE at IIIT Guwahati has good placements than IIIT Lucknow.
