Placement Details
Students can make a choice based on facts listed above in coherence with future goals.
All four are the best, most renowned, highly established business schools in the country. Though to be a part of one of them will be dependent on various factors
Order of choice (highest to lowest)
Ultimately, the institution that you choose should align with your career goals and aspirations. It's important to research and compare each institution carefully before making a decision.
A typical day at IIM ABC or XLRI is different for different people. The student crowd of these institutes includes all types of students. There are students who are only interested in academics and speads most of their types studying. The typical routine is different for students who are equally interested in academics as well as extracurricular. Each day at these institutes will bring some kind of challenge. You will have to do your assignment, prepare for case studies, study for surprise quizzes, and also keep up with the co-curricular. You will need to prioritize tasks according to urgency and often sleep will come last on the list.
When applying to XLRI Jamshedpur, you will not benefit from your studies at St Xavier's Calcutta. Only a strong profile, a high XAT score, and a strong performance in the GD/PI will help you gain admission to XLRI. Good grades, a reputable undergraduate college, relevant work experience, and any other achievements all contribute to a strong profile. A high XAT score is typically in the 98th percentile or higher. Finally, a strong showing in the GD/PI is essential for acceptance.
It is important to note that religion, caste, wealth, and family background will not be considered in the admissions process. Only the three previously mentioned factors will be considered.
There are a few things you would have to assume before getting an answer to this question.
If all the above-listed variables are true in your case, my verdict, as a graduate of this college, would be that the XLRI management program could be a little risky for you.
As far as the program is concerned, you will have to look into the information regarding this and see if it definitely interests you.

The program is relatively new and began just five years ago so you can expect that the placements would not be the best yet. A friend of mine struggled quite a lot to get placed even a few months after the program ended.
If you are not ready to take this sort of risk, you should evaluate your parameters before going ahead and taking any decision.
XLRI can be achieved by converting the XAT scores. But for that, the score must be higher than the 99.4 percentile. If the conversion is not the priority, then an interview call could be thereby obtaining a higher 98 percentile. So learn the priorities well.
There is less weightage of work experience also. The experience doesn't matter that much. But to have the knowledge and experience in one's own domain will lead you to explore the subject more and go into the depths.
XLRI has a strong reputation for Human Resource (HR) management and Industrial Relations (IR) studies. If an individual is specifically interested in HR/IR, then XLRI would be a better option compared to NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies). However, if you are looking for a general management program, then NMIMS would be a better choice because of its excellent peer group and rigorous curriculum.
XLRI is still a good institute for other streams, but it is more specialized in HR and IR. Similarly, NMIMS is known for its general management program, and it may not have the same level of expertise as XLRI in HR/IR.
If you do not have a specific preference for specialty, the XLRI HRM course is the greatest fit for your needs.
The HRM course at XLRI Jamshedpur is the best in Asia. They receive incredible placements, and the profiles they get are better than any other HR programme in India. Few students in XL HR have been placed in Consulting and General Management roles, which are in high demand at major business schools. Almost all of the top HR in India's leading firms are from XL Jamshedpur, which helps with networking and job advancement. They have a fantastic alumni network. The recent appointment of Leena Nair as Chanel's global CEO is an illustration of how their graduates (XL HR) have performed.
