Should I prefer an MTech in transportation at IIT Bhubaneshwar or construction technology in NIT Warangal?

AM
Ananya Maurya Posted On : November 15th, 2022
B.Tech. in Computer Science & Computer Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Warangal

There are various factors that show that NITW is better than IIT Bhubaneshwar. Some of them are mentioned below:

  • The Alumni Base of NITW is better than that of IITBBS.

  • The ranking of NITW is better than IITBBS.

  • The placements for the CSE department in NITW are more efficient than the Mechanical department of IIT Bhubaneshwar.

  • NITW has an incredibly good college culture as compared to IIIB.

  • The infrastructure of NITW is also well constructed.

Choose IIT BBS Mechanical only if you have a strong interest in the field. Otherwise, no match exists between the options. If the choice is between these two, NITW is without a doubt the better option.

I got 96 marks in the mains and 95.3% in Telangana board. Can I get seat in Sastra University?

AR
Aronnyo Roy Posted On : November 30th, 2021
B.Tech Mechatronics, SASTRA University, Thanjavur (2018)

With your marks, it’s difficult to get the most preferred branches at SASTRA University. You won’t be able to get CSE, IT-related branches, or any integrated 5-year courses.

Also, SASTRA University doesn’t have any management quota. But there is an NRI quota. For this quota, the cutoff is less. However, in order to be eligible for the quota, you should have a close relative who lives in a foreign country.

How was your experience of immersion day with Krea University?

SR
Shashank Ray Posted On : October 25th, 2021
studied B.Sc Biology & Psychology, Krea University (2022)

This answer is based on what my brother experienced during his immersion day at Krea University.

  • His immersion day was conducted via online mode in June during the 3rd round of the admission process at Krea University.
  • A day prior, the authority members of Krea organized an online meeting through Zoom to make the students who would be part of the event familiar with one another.
  • The session started with a professor at Krea University giving a presentation on subjects like disproportionate development and migration.
  • The students were required to listen and pay attention to what the presenters were saying.
  • The attendees were provided with 30 minutes to compose a reflective essay about their understanding of the topic.
  • For this, the students were advised not to reuse the information mentioned in the presentation.
  • For the Group discussion/Presentation portion of the immersion day, the students were provided with around 2-3 minutes to speak on the topic and present their ideas and opinions.
  • The Personal interview was enjoyed by my brother. The students were asked questions about their personal stories that they include in their application.
  • The students were asked about their academic interests and their stream in Classes 11th and 12th.
  • A week later, a 7-question proctored exam was given to the students to assess their mathematical and logical reasoning skills.
  • The test would be simple for you if your class 10 math fundamentals are clear.

My brother thought their method of picking candidates was quite interesting and unique. He was never bored during the sessions because he learned a lot from the professors and the student debates.

Can I do an M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS after a B.A Honours in Geography? How good is the Department of RS GIS in Vidyasagar University West Bengal?

AB
Alok Banerjee Posted On : October 13th, 2021
Completed Master of Arts & Geography at Vidyasagar University in 2020

Vidyasagar University is the pioneer university that introduced the M.Sc degree in Remote Sensing and GIS. A number of scientists who have retired from government organizations visit the department often.

The faculty involved in teaching the topics is arguably some of the best in West Bengal. The same can be said about the research activities conducted in the university.

The placement scene is also admirable as the students get employed as soon as they complete the course. You can get a job role in research organizations such as NATMO, DST, organizations pertaining to carrying out space research, private companies such as Cyberswift, Rolta, ESRI, etc.

If you are interested in technology and computer software then make sure you go for remote sensing. It would do you good if you have some basic knowledge of Physics and Mathematics you have done in your class 12 board exams. You can brush them up while pursuing the course.

How can I crack the JIPMER 2021?

SP
Shiv Panday Posted On : October 4th, 2021
MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) (2023)

Well, cracking is not tough if your preparation is up to the mark. And not just in the exam as JIPMER, but any other exam. You should be well prepared with your basics and advance so that you can clear your exam well.

For exams like JIPMER, It is suggested that you go through NCERT and study material assisted to you by a coaching institute if any. This will be more than enough. Adding to it, you should also focus on your English grammar and Aptitude.

This is all you need, but it is you who should start your preparation right now so that you will be well prepared by the time the exam comes. Do not waste your time and utilize it fully in practicing and reading to crack the exam.

Can I get admission at LNCT Bhopal with an ECE branch if I got 51 marks in the JEE Mains 2021?

AS
Ankit Shah Posted On : September 22nd, 2021
Bachelor of engineering from Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal (2020)

There is a possibility of you getting admission at LNCT Bhopal in the ECE branch if you have got 51 marks in JEE Mains 2021.

Although you might get LNCT if the cut-off lies in this range it is not possible to say for sure because the cut-off varies according to the marks that you and your competitors have secured in JEE Mains.

Although you should note that the ECE branch is not that great. The faculty base is not good. You will get little to no help from the faculty.

It’s better if you choose CS at LNCT or LNCTS. That way you will have more placement opportunities. Most IT companies visit the campus for placement. The core companies visiting the campus are very less in number. So, if you take ECE, your placement opportunities will be limited.
