Which is better, CS in NIT Calicut or CS in BITS Goa?
CS in BITS Goa is better. It offers better placements compared to NIT Calicut. Companies such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, Amazon, and Uber visit BITS Goa placements. The average CTC offered to CSE students in the campus placement is INR 15-20 LPA. Almost every student of the branch receives recruitment through the campus drive.
BITS offers better learning resources and facilities. The student crowd of the institute is excellent, owing to their no reservation policy.
How was your personal interview experience at the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon?
Due to Covid, MDI took PI online for the academic year 2021. There are usually two professors in the interview panel.
The interview starts with an introduction. There will be questions based on your past academics and work experience. You can also expect general questions like -
- What is your CAT percentile?
- Was this the first time you took CAT, if not what was your percentile in previous attempts?
- What other calls do you have?
- What are your hobbies?
There will be questions regarding current affairs and news as well. So, keep yourself updated about the current happenings around the world.
How is the BBA course in DTU?
DTU is a well-reputed college. It is known for its engineering courses. People assume that it is as good for BBA as engineering. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
The office staff at the East Delhi campus could be more supportive. They do not answer student queries, and keep on delaying responses to a later date. In the end, they put all the blame on students. Eventually, one is left with the only option of visiting the main campus for query resolution.
But the main campus staff responds that the entire work related to BBA/MBA is done on the East campus itself. As for BBA placements, they are below average at present. The packages are very low, and the placement percentage is nowhere near the promised 100%.
I recommend you look for other options for a BBA instead of DTU.
Which college should I go SRM or NMIMS for CSE?
For CSE, SRM is the better option. The academics, campus life, and facilities offered are good. Major recruiting companies such as Amazon, Honda, Cognizant, etc. recruit through the campus drive. SRM placements in 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 1 CPA. The institute offers decent exposure. The networking opportunities are ample. Here is an honest review of the SRM University
How is NIT Agartala in terms of academics, hostels, facilities, studies, and placements?
NIT Agartala is a decent option in terms of academics, hostel, facilities, studies, and placements. Academics are decent. But there aren’t many chances for research. Professors are well-experienced and supportive but most of the time you need to depend on self-study.
Being a Central Govt. college, NITA offers good facilities. The departmental library, workshops, and laboratories are well-equipped. It offers virtual class facilities. ISRO has an innovation incubation center on the campus of NITA.
The institute has a decent placement record. According to the recent highlights of NIT Agartala placements, the highest and average CTC offered was INR 36 LPA, and 5 LPA, respectively.
How good is GIBS Business School, Bangalore?
My sister has studied here at GIBS Business School Bangalore. As per her experience, the college has an awesome infrastructure and an excellent study environment.
- The location of the institute is in a remote location and you can face connectivity problems. However, the campus is airy and good.
- The accommodation facilities are also decent and mess offers healthy food.
- The fee structure is affordable which can be a major advantage.
- It is certainly not a creamy B-School and not something like IIM Bangalore or IFIM.
- Many of GIBS's faculty are PhDs. They are welcoming and supportive and will encourage you to engage in many programs.

Every year approximately 90 percent of students take an internship. GIBS offers 100% summer internships with well-known firms such as Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, etc. It boasts to place around 2000+ students in renowned companies within and abroad.
Overall, if GIBS is what you have to go with, then don’t hesitate at all, it’s a good institution and you won’t be disappointed at all.

How is the current scenario of placement in IMT Hyderabad, Ghaziabad and Nagpur?
You should first figure out if you are planning to join the college for placements or if you actually wish to improve yourself. 10 years back, a lot of students from IMT Nagpur did not get placements and jobs.
It does not mean that you will not get placed at all. You will ultimately get a job but you should remember that ultimately what will help you is what you have learned during your degree. Your focus should be on your teachers as they will ensure that your base concepts are good and jobs will keep coming later in your life.

What is your review of BITS Pilani WILP?Does it consider to get lecturer job?
BITS WILP is a two-year postgraduate level course, in which 15 specializations are offered by the university. It is a degree course that is completed mainly on weekends to enable students and professionals to gain a full-time degree course while continuing their professional pursuits.
Pros
- You get associated with the BITS tag
- You can do your PG alongside working
- The course is rather easy and with the right dedication you can complete it in 2 yrs.
- The syllabus is the same for both on and off-campus students
Cons
- You won’t be able to sit for PG campus recruitment
- Not many companies consider this degree valuable and thus makes it is difficult to land a job.
- The admission criteria are rather flexible thus the peer pool is not very filtered.
- Most of the subjects are from bachelors and lack relevance and rigor
- There is no visible difference in the knowledge base of the students.
- The classes are not conducted by the original BITS faculty.
In all, I think the cons overshadow the pros and don’t deem this course a very wise decision.
