  • Applying for a PhD at VJTI is pretty simple. The institute has the right to decide the total number of available seats for PhD and that will determine which qualified students are contacted for interviews by the institute.
  • Candidates who have completed a master’s or equivalent from an Indian or foreign institute are eligible for the program.
  • Candidates with a UGCNET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED score are more preferred than others.
  • PhD notifications are regularly updated on their website.
  • Some candidates are admitted through an entrance test conducted by the institute. Candidates who qualify for UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET ISLET/GATE /INSPIRE / PET(By Maharashtra Public Universities) and any other JRF holder of the apex bodies like CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR/ ICMR/ DBT/ DST/ ICSSR are exempted for the entrance exam.

How is campus life like at VJTI?

A
Admin Posted On : May 13th, 2024

As a former student at VJTI, let me answer your question.

  • The VJTI campus is pretty moderate in size, however, despite its size, the campus is serene, spanning 16 acres and featuring a cricket ground, open study areas, and a single football court.
  • All of the top scorers from the MHT-CET, whether from Mumbai or any other region of Maharashtra, are here in this college.
  • There are a lot of engineering domains, so interacting with people will be extremely simple.
  • The seniors are helpful and ragging is a foreign thing on this campus. You’ll also enjoy fests like Technovanza and Rangwardhan.
  • The majority of professors are nice. They cannot be completely relied upon because this is not a school.

Can you provide details of internship opportunities available at VJTI Mumbai?

A
Admin Posted On : May 13th, 2024

Yes, there are several internship opportunities available at VJTI. They give you an opportunity not only to increase your employability as a candidate but also to provide you with the chance to learn more about the field you have chosen. VJTI offers opportunities in top companies and exposure to current technologies and corporate work culture.

There are certain policies for internships, which you’ll come to know in due time. For example, MCA students who have qualified for placements, are eligible for internships. If a BTech student gets one placement offer and one PPO, they can choose either of the two.

(Reference: Link)

Back when I was studying at VJTI, over 288 undergraduate and postgraduate students got successful internship offers. They got a maximum stipend of INR 30,000 per month.

As a recent VJTI graduate, I think I’ll be the right person to answer your question. All VJTI faculty members are PhD holders from reputed institutes, and their passion for teaching and research is commendable. All of them are experts in their respective fields.

You can always clear your doubts or engage with your peers if you face any such difficulties. There will be ample opportunities for extra learning resources as well. You can always speak to your department HOD if the problem persists. Rest assured, you will have a satisfactory experience at VJTI.

How is the placement of the information technology branch at LPU?

A
Admin Posted On : May 13th, 2024

Hello, this is Abhishek, a BTech CSE graduate from LPU. I got to know about LPU through my friends. The University has good academics and placement records. For my batch, LPU recorded 85% placements.

My friend has chosen BTech IT at LPU, and he has had a good experience regarding placements. LPU offers Placement training to all BTech streams. The university has a separate placement cell which trains students.

As a CSE student, I was part of the same training sessions as my friend in BTech IT. The strong alumni network of LPU provides important guidance and support to the students. LPU attracts several top-notch recruiting companies and IT giants like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft, etc. for IT placements.

The IT placements are quite decent at LPU, and the authorities make every possible effort to provide support and guidance to the students.
