Which will be better, ECE in NIT Jamshedpur or IT in BIT Mesra?
ECE in NIT Jamshedpur would be a better option than IT in BIT Mesra considering the facts given below. One of my friends pursued her ECE degree from NIT Jamshedpur and had a good experience.
Placements: (Winning Institution - NIT Jamshedpur)
- The placements in NIT Jamshedpur for the ECE branch are much better than IT placements in BIT Mesra.
- Most of the students of NIT Jamshedpur get placed in the software companies, only a few core ECE companies visit the campus.
Infrastructure and Faculty:
- The college infrastructure and faculty of NIT Jamshedpur are not very up to the mark but then you cannot depend on the teachings.
- Most of the time you have to study on your own or along with your friends.
Branch Selection: If you are interested in opting for the IT branch then you can definitely go for BIT Mesra but if you have certain confusion in your branch selection, then it is recommended to choose ECE from NIT Jamshedpur.
Mess and Hostel: (Winning Institution - NIT Jamshedpur)
- NIT Jamshedpur takes really good care of its students. Facilities like hostels and mess are really awesome. From the tasty food of mess to the clean rooms of the hostel, everything is just perfect.
- My friend visited BIT Mesra for a workshop and according to her experience, the food at the campus is not that good. Their facilities are not up to the mark.

JISCE is considered to be a better institution than JIS University (JISU), for their placement record, faculty, etc. Candidates must have 60% in PCM in their 10+2 qualifying examinations to be eligible for admission. They should also have a valid WBJEE score.

Which is better, CGC Landran or NIET Noida for CSE?
CGC Landran and NIET Noida both offer Computer Science Engineering, however, there are a number of discrepancies that come into the picture when it comes to comparing the course at each university. The following points elaborate on the areas of eligibility, fee structure, placements, and faculty.
Admission:
- To qualify for B.Tech CSE at CGC Landran, applicants must have 10+2 qualification as well as Computer science as a subject and appear for the JEE examination as the rank for the same is mandatory.
- On the other hand, for admission in NIET Noida, applicants are required to appear for the UPSEE exam as well as have a minimum of 45% in their 10+2.

What should I take: IIT BHU Electronics or IIT Kanpur Chemical Engineering?
Both IIT BHU and IIT Kanpur are one of the best and oldest institutes in India. But according to me IIT Kanpur is better than IIT BHU here are some reasons:
- IIT Kanpur generally ranks higher than IIT BHU in the NIRF rankings. As of the most recent rankings IIT Kanpur is usually within the top 5 engineering institutes in India and IIT BHU typically ranks between 10 to 15.
- Both IIT Kanpur and IIT BHU have excellent placement records. But as one of my friends is studying at IIT BHU information provided by him Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT BHU has strong placement records with average CTCs typically ranging from 12 to 14 LPA whereas Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur also strong placement statistics with average CTCs typically ranging from 12 to 15 LPA.
- The faculties of IIT BHU are dedicated and the research institutes are also good making it a conducive place for study, contrary to this, IIT Kanpur is known for its education, best curriculum, excellent faculties, and research facilities.
Based on the above information, IIT Kanpur is a better choice than IIT BHU.
Which is better at DTU, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering?
If you are interested in the Mechanical branch, you should definitely go for DTU Mechanical. DTU has one of the best Mechanical departments in the country. There are many tech teams and societies for the branch. Tech teams such as Defianz Racing, AUV DTU, UAS DTU, etc. even participated in competitions of international levels and won.
The placement records are also good for the branch. Many PSUs frequently visit the campus placement to recruit students. The highlights of DTU Mechanical Engineering placements show the average package to be INR 7 LPA. ONGC, Mahindra, etc. are among the top recruiting companies.
Which is better, NIT Arunachal Pradesh for biotechnology or Ujjain Engineering College for mechanical?

Lovely Professional University and Jain University are two of the apex private institutions of the country which provide education in a wide range of subjects and fields. While Jain University is graded ‘A’ by NAAC, both the above-mentioned universities are accredited by UGC. B.Tech. programs are quite popular courses at these institutes. NIRF has ranked Jain University and LPU 117 and 87 for BTech.
