What will be the cancellation policy for B.Des. program in MIT-WPU?

Cancellation Policy

  • Candidate shall apply for cancellation in due format available with MIT – WPU and submit signed copy of application in person or send through email mentioned in the Application Form to the concerned Head of School/Department of MIT –WPU
  • After receiving an admission cancellation request from the candidate, the Head of the concerned school/department of MIT –WPU shall recommend the case and forward the case to the Registrar through the Dean, Admissions for canceling the admission immediately. The admissions section shall give the acknowledgement of cancellation of admission to the student and a copy of the same will be sent to the concerned school for records.

    • BA(Political Science/Public Administration/Sociology…etc.) is a theoretical course where there is minimal exposure given to students towards practical aspects of functioning of government, active participation in policy making and research or preparation for UPSC competitive examination.
    • The BA Honours (Govt Admn) degree program focuses on the experiential, facilitative and case study method of learning whereby the students are exposed to a participative mode of learning.
    • The highlights are –
    1. Interaction with Eminent Bureaucrats, Political Leaders, Social Activists, Academicians, Media persons and Legal Practitioners.

Application to be done on website www.mitwpu.edu.in and click on the apply tab and payment of Rs. 1500/- to be done online (Nonrefundable). The application process started on the website from 1st January 2020.

  1. Upon successful payment of admission form fee, you will receive a User ID and a Password, which can be used for updating or modifying this application form information.
  2. Please keep the Login credentials for later use, such as for- updating the score/percentile after exam results (HSC, MHT-CET 2020 and JEE (Main) 2020) and for uploading the required documents.

All the student who are been selected for/through Entrance Test have to submit the photocopies of documents like

  1. Mark sheets of 10th Standard (S.S.C)- Attested copies.
  2. Mark sheets of 12th Standard (H.S.C) – Original + Attested Photocopies.
  3. Transfer or Leaving Certificate
  4. Migration Certificate ( Except Maharashtra Board)
  5. Attested copy of Caste Certificate in case of reserved category (candidates from Maharashtra State only. Other documents viz: Validity, Non-Creamy layer certificate)
  6. Domicile (For Maharashtra State candidates only) or Birth Certificate Copy (FromMaharashtra) or School Leaving Certificate with Place of birth mentioned from Maharashtra
