How and what should I prepare for CUSAT GDPI (law)?
GD-PI round is conducted to test your personality and communication skills. I also prepared for CUSAT during my college days, I might be able to help you with your question.
- You can improve your communication skills by speaking in front of a mirror.
- Reading newspapers, discussing current topics with your friends and families will keep you updated with the recent happenings and trends.
- Your debating skills should be good.
- If someone tries to suppress your point you should be able to express yourself and highlight the important points in the discussions. This will make you stand out.
- Search various GD topics on the internet.
- You should also prepare yourself with some academic questions like “why do you want to study law” and “why do you want to join CUSAT”, etc.
- Whatever you say, you should be confident enough to express your points.
- Your approach for presenting the point should be factual and creative.
- Reading various kinds of news articles in the newspaper will help you a lot.
These are some of the things I did while preparing for my GD-PI session. Just be confident and express your points thoroughly.
What should I do if I am in the last month of the CAT exam and still not scoring even 50 marks and want to get IIM Ahmedabad?
Never treat your mock marks too seriously. Mock scores fluctuate for many applicants. The key is to not worry in the weeks before the test. Take as many mocks as you can in the remaining time to improve your plan, but don't overdo it.
During tests, you should focus on answering the easy questions and skipping the hard ones. Analyze your strengths and weaknesses and work on a plan that will help you get the best score possible. Be clear with your strategy as you can not do much in the last weeks other than make a strategy to solve the paper in the correct manner.
Also, don't try to learn too much in the days before the test. Review the basics, look over your previous practice tests, learn from your mistakes, and take a break before the exam. You can get into the best colleges and even IIMA.
I am a B.E. first year student at UIT RGPV, Bhopal, India with branch in ECE. I want to do my MS from the USA. How should I prepare?
To get admission to an MS degree from any US university there are 3 different important factors - GPA; GRE and TOEFL scores and SOP supported by LOR’s.
- The first factor has to be maintained at your previous academic place. You must score above the minimum grade to be eligible to sit in the entrance exam. Focus on the coursework and score as high as possible.
- In the junior year of your academic degree, start preparing for the GRE and TOEFL because they are not easy and can create a little bit of a problem.
- The third factor is the SOP supported by the LOR’s. Here SOP means a letter of recommendation and LOR is the professor who taught you the courses. Find a faculty who will help you in your research and write a supervised thesis to be included in the SOP which can prove to be a great benefit for you.
Try to answer few questions by yourself about the purpose of the degree. Will it really be helpful in the future? Form small steps and slowly go for the final decision. Optimize your plan after you get the answers to these questions and then formulate a plan.
How should I prepare myself for the ISI Kolkata entrance exam?
Some of my friends took admission to ISI Kolkata for their bachelor's courses. Here are a few of their tips which you can follow while you prepare yourself at home.
- Lay emphasis on Mathematics concepts like Number Theory, Combinatorics, etc. from a standard book, like Excursion.
- Try to Solve a set of problems daily from the Test of maths at 10+2 level.
- Solve a lot of MCQs from JEE books which are easily available both offline and online.
- Learn calculus at an advanced level from the book - I.A. Maron, etc.
- Revise and fine-tune whatever you have learned till now. Take routine tests to keep a check on your preparation.
Overall, home preparation is quite simple if you want to score well enough for ISI Kolkata. Follow the important points and practice each and everything as much as you can. Also, you can always take help from your seniors who have gone through similar exams.
How can I prepare for Technical section of IBPS SO?
Preparing for the technical section of IBPS SO can be a challenging task, but with the right approach and resources, you can make progress and perform well on the exam. Here are some steps you can take to prepare for the technical section of IBPS SO:
- Understand the syllabus: The first step in preparing for any exam is to understand the syllabus and the topics that will be covered. Review the technical section syllabus thoroughly and make a list of all the topics you need to cover.
- Gather study materials: Once you have a list of the topics to cover, gather all the relevant study materials such as textbooks, study guides, and online resources.
- Develop a study plan: Create a study plan that covers all the topics and gives you enough time to revise and practice. Make sure to allocate more time to topics that you find challenging.

What can I do in 20 days to clear MMMUT examination?
The level of difficulty of MMMUT entrance is not much. To score well in the examination, your basics should be clear.
- For Physics and Chemistry, you should solve NCERT Numerical Qs.
- For Mathematics, you should prefer Objective Mathematics of R.D Sharma.
Also, familiarize yourself with the UPSEE test paper and give mocks to form a time management strategy.
How can I prepare for the CLAT in 4 months to get into NALSAR?
CLAT is an aptitude entrance test to get into Law institutes such as top NLU’s, NALSAR, NLIU, NUJS, etc. According to one of my friends who was in a similar situation, 4 months is a sufficient time for anyone to crack CLAT provided they study with focus, commitment.
The ways to follow through the preparation of CLAT: -
- Joining a successful coaching institute.
- They generally start with a crash course program in a very highly competitive atmosphere.
- They provide the right materials, motivation for the students to excel.
- They provide mock tests on a regular basis to see where you stand.
- Studying on your own is also an excellent choice if you know about the pattern and questions.
- Contact any coaching for the mocks and material and get yourself enrolled in an online program.
- Study and revise the topics through the recorded sessions as per your choice.
- They give you all the practice material and help you devise the proper strategy to crack the exam.
It is definitely possible to crack CLAT in a 4 month time with proper guidance and dedication. So do not worry and go ahead with your decision.
How tough is it to get into IIM Indore as I am preparing for IPM?
If you want to decide the toughness on the basis of the availability of seats then yes, it indeed is tough to get into IIM Indore. The seats available for the IPM program are 150. So the competition is pretty tough.
But in reality, the majority of the students just are writing the exam casually. Some students even give up after looking at the test structure, difficulty, and other confidence issues. So the ones who are serious about and have seriously prepared for the exam are competing with a much lesser number of students.
IIM Indore makes around 800–850 calls for an interview for IPM, which means one of every 6 good candidates gets a call for an interview. Around the top 180 students get a final offer (main list + waiting list).
So probability-wise you have a good chance of making it into IIM Indore provided that you are self-motivated and well-prepared.
How should one tackle GD and PI to get into NITIE bombay?
Some of my friends studied at NITIE Mumbai. They now know all the intricate details on how to face a GD and a PI round. Let me share some things they used to keep in mind.
Tips for GD:
- Try to start the discussion. Give it a structure and then conclude it.
- Remember that if you give it a structure, it should flow in the same direction. Though it can be a bit tricky.
- If you are not able to start the discussion, make sure that you give at least three distinct and strong points.
- When you state your point, try backing it up with facts and numbers. This will make you stand out among others.
- Stay updated with current affairs and trends.
Tips for PI:
- Read your CV thoroughly.
- Questions that you can expect from your CV are related to your work experience and your projects if any.
- If you are a fresher, you can expect questions on your final year project, your favorite subject, etc.
- Since my friend was a mechanical engineer, he was asked questions on thermodynamics and a few on the composition of air.
- You can expect basic questions such as Why NITIE Mumbai or Why Supply Chain? Go through the basics of supply chain and operations management.
So, these are some of the things you need to be prepared for. Overall be honest, humble, and answer with confidence.
Can you give me some tips to pass in engineering mechanics 1st year in MAKAUT? P.S I don't know anything
Students usually find it difficult to pass Engineering Mechanics, but it can be cracked easily using a perfect study strategy and consistency. The Dynamics portion is comparatively easier than statistics, which includes the basics like power, energy, Newton’s Law of Motion, and so on. The other topics that require greater understanding include projectile motion, circular motion, and so on. The portion on statistics is a bit tricky, and the topics include concepts of physics and mathematics. You should spend hours on methodological preparation and practice numerical reasoning to understand the concepts
