NICMAR's PGDM program's cut-off marks change each year. PGDM cut-off marks are usually revealed after the NICMAR Common Entrance Test (NCET) results.
NICMAR's PGDM and other programmes require the NCET for admission. The online NCET has MCQs. Candidates are tested on numeric ability, logical reasoning, data interpretation, and English.
NICMAR's PGDM cut-off is 60–70 percentile. It's vital to note that cut-off marks fluctuate based on the number of applicants and the admission exam's complexity.
The preparation of BITSAT includes so many areas, English and Logical reasoning being an important part of it. Like other students applying for BITSAT, my knowledge is also limited to my experience, gathered from others. Mostly our preparation depends on solving previous year’s question papers and watching tutorials. There are a number of books you can follow as well. Analyze your strong area and try solving the answers in a limited time. This will lessen your burden in the examination hall.
The above tips will definitely help you prepare for english & logical reasoning for BITSAT, but keep in mind that there are other sections as well. So divide your practice time accordingly and dedicate sufficient time to all other sections as well.

IIIT students sit along with the NIT students during classes. During placements, the students of both IIIT and NIT sit together for campus placements.
In general, the placements of IIIT students are less as compared to NIT but some bright students of IIIT get good placement along with good packages. The IIIT students also sit for the campus placements at NITH but some companies don’t allow the IIIT students. At the end of the day, it only depends upon your capability, hard work, and talent. You will get ample opportunities for placements. The other facilities, academics, hostels, etc are all the same for IIIT.

When a 12th-grade student enrols in a prestigious Delhi university, he or she has many hopes for placement and compensation.
However, only 1% of students are placed in the top colleges. B.Sc. is solely academic in nature. You should never have unrealistic expectations of receiving gleaming packages after completing your B.Sc. To get a job in this field, you will need to further your education.
The main advantage of studying at DU is the exposure you will receive. It will aid in your personal development.
During my B.Tech from NIT Durgapur, I stayed at Halls-9,3 and 5. I can tell you about the condition of these halls.
The infrastructure of these hostel buildings is in a poor and dilapidated state. They are located in one corner of the campus. The rooms are old, and these halls aren’t well maintained. The mess food isn’t good.
Despite all of this, you’ll find solace in your hostel rooms. You’ll form close bonds with your hostelmates. Once you move out of NIT Durgapur, you’ll miss these times. Over here, you’ll enjoy plenty of freedom with practically no responsibilities.
For the most part, the condition of hostels isn’t good. Still, you’ll eventually adapt to this place. You’ll form close friendships and lifelong memories over here.

There are innumerable placement opportunities in IIT Bombay’s Geoinformatics and Natural Resources Engineering (GNR) department. Here are the important points that you must keep in mind:
If you want to have a career in Computer Science, Electronics, and other related fields, IIIT Bhubaneswar is a good option. It has an active coding culture, which is better than most NITs. The institute has good faculties. Dr. R K Lenka sir is quite popular among students. It has a great placement record. IIIT Bhubaneswar placement 2022 had witnessed the highest CTC of INR 44 LPA.
If you haven’t already worked with a research group or under a professor during your summertime, IISc would be a little difficult for you.
There are a lot of professors and postdoctoral fellows who are enrolled in a subdiscipline at IISc. So any kind of internship will give you a little edge over others to be selected for winter internship.
If you are a scholar at KVPY or INSPIRE or NIUS, you might have better chances but the statement of purpose matters as well. Usually, you will have to send a mail with your CV and the statement of purpose along with a list of courses that you have completed to any of the professors who are related to that sub-discipline. You must also remember to apply early in September and if it is feasible for you, you must decide on a topic, duration, accommodation before October.
IISER - For IISERs, it would be advisable to go for Mohali or Bhopal. The application process is quite similar. September end to October is considered to be the best time to decide on a date and duration.
IITs - a few of them conduct sponsored winter programs but there is no logic in going to an IIT to study theoretical mathematics. You can rather go to Kanpur and Powai and the application procedure for both of them is the same as above.
If you wish to pursue cryptology, cryptanalysis, economical models, number theory, ISI and CMI would be considered better when it comes to exposure and experience. For complex analysis, and astrostatistics, you can go to IMSc, ISI, IISc, and CMI. You can opt for mathematical biology at IISERs and IISc.
