Which college is better for a BBE, Maharaja Agrasen College or Shivaji College?

SS
Suhani Singh, Posted On : November 25th, 2021
Business Economics, University of Delhi (2021)

Among Maharaja Agrasen College (MAC) and Shivaji College, the former is known to be a strict and disciplined institution while the latter is much lenient.

  • MAC has a better reputation as an educational institution.
  • They have a better and well experienced faculty.
  • Teachers in Shivaji are mostly careless and often miss classes. This hampers the studies and eventually they fail to complete the syllabus.
  • MAC unlike Shivaji is very strict about its academics.
  • They are even strict about maintaining an 80% attendance.

But, all in all ultimately everything depends on the student and their hard work and dedication towards the course. Because the colleges are more or less the same, it is how you prepare yourself for your career ahead.

Is Integrated programme of management of IIM Bodh Gaya worth it?

MB
Mrinmoyee Das Biswas Posted On : January 21st, 2023
MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (Graduated 2022)

Whether a course is suitable for a person depends solely on what he wants from the course and his priorities. You cannot generalize a course's value. Yet, in my opinion, it’s a course worth doing for everyone. Some points that speak in favor of this program are

  • Unlike the general misconception of IPM being lower in terms of degree, the IPM program at IIM Bodh Gaya offers dual degrees to its students (B.A (Foundations in Management) and a normal MBA).
  • Despite being a new IIM, it has carried the legacy of IIM and has proven its worth through its fast-paced growth and 100% placement percentage.
  • IIM Bodh Gaya maintains strong international relations with world-class educational institutes like SolBridge International School of Business in South Korea and Montpellier Business School in France through its elite student exchange program
  • Its location is one of the reasons many students choose it over other new IIMs. It’s located just 7 km away from the Gaya airport at a Buddhist tourist spot.

So IIM Bodh Gaya in general and its IPM program especially is worth taking.

BBA from The NorthCap University (2019)

According to the reviews online, the BBA program at NorthCap University (NCU), Gurugram is a really good choice for students residing in NCR with an interest in Business Management.

  • Their BBA program offers specialisation in Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management.
  • NCU is one of the few universities that provides students with an intricate and detailed specialisation opportunity.
  • Other than their BBA General program, they also have BBA with specialisation in Business Analytics and Digital Marketing.
  • This allows students to focus completely on their preferred area throughout their college.
  • The professors are highly experienced and put emphasis on practical learning rather than only theoretical studies.
  • This helps the students to learn and apply these in a professional environment. They are prepared early on to face the functioning of the industries.

All NCU students get proper mentoring, guidance, industry interface, strong placement focus and holistic development. They also have an influential placement cell and strong alumni network.

Which is better, Atlas Skilltech University or NMIMS Mumbai for a BBA?

AG
Akriti Gupta Posted On : June 3rd, 2023
lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

There should not be any comparison between the two colleges since NMIMS has far better career prospects than Atlas Skilltech University and you should definitely choose NMIMS over Atlas unless you have a valid reason to go to Atlas University.

It’s a relatively new college, it started in 2021 only and doesn’t have any accreditation whatsoever. Although the concept of opening such a university that is supposed to be focused on new-age urban multidisciplinary activities is laudable the fee of 12-13 lacs for a BBA is somewhat not justified. NMIMS on the other hand is a well-established college and enjoys a rich legacy. The curriculum is also very rigorous and makes you future-ready.

Bedashruti Sen Posted On : February 2nd, 2022
Bachelor of Management Studies, University of Mumbai

No, having Maths as a subject combination is not a necessary criteria to pursue BMS at Wilson College, Mumbai. I know students from non-mathematical backgrounds who are pursuing their BMS from Wilson. There are even students from Arts background. So, it doesn’t matter, if you don’t have a Mathematics background. But you should note that the BMS course includes Business Maths.
