LPU provide its students with really good accommodation facilities irrespective of the courses. It provides well-equipped hostel rooms with various configurations for different preferences and budgets. The university has 17 multi-story hostel buildings. Each hostel has its own dedicated warden and maintenance staff. Some of the top facilities that are provided to students in the LPU hostel include furnished rooms, laundry services, internet connectivity, water purifier, ambulance service, CCTV support and more.

Yes, BSc students can learn foreign languages at LPU through short-term courses. These courses are designed in a way so that you can continue pursuing your BSc degree and at the same time learn a new language. These short-term foreign language courses aim to provide students with the chance to excel in MNCs as they expand their operations in India. 

Currently, LPU offers four types of language courses in French, German, Japanese and Spanish - Basic, Elementary, Fundamental and Intensive. You will be provided with a certificate upon the course completion. The basic language course is the most pursued by students whose details I’ve mentioned in the table below.

No, there are no entrance exams for getting admission to BSc forensic science courses at Parul University. You just have to pass 12th in the Science stream, from a recognised board.

I also shifted to LPU from another college. So I can explain the process.

The migration process at LPU is pretty easy. If you want to migrate to LPU in the 3rd semester from another college, you need to meet the eligibility requirements that will be reviewed and verified by university officials for further processing. I will state the requirements below:

• The course in which you are seeking admission at LPU should be similar to the course you are currently enrolled in.
• You must have the minimum percentage as stated in the eligibility requirements of the course in which you are seeking migration or transfer.
• If you have a backlog, compartment, or you have reappeared in any of the subjects, your application will not get shortlisted for admission.

• LPUNEST exam is mainly for getting scholarships. For example, If your LPUNEST score is more than the category I cut-off or you have secured 95% or above in 12th boards, then you will get a 38% scholarship on the programme fee. 
• Similarly, If your LPUNEST score is more than the category II cut-off or you have secured 90%-94.99% in 12th boards, then you will get a 33% scholarship on the programme fee. 
• If your LPUNEST score is more than the category III cut-off or you have secured 90%-89.99% in 12th boards, then you will get a 28% scholarship on the programme fee. In this way, the scholarships are granted to the students. 

To pursue a BSc hons Zoology course at LPU, you need to pass with an aggregate mark of 60% in your class 12th board examinations. You must have studied subjects such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology and English or equivalent to be eligible to sit for CUET or LPUNEST. 

BSc IT is a popular bachelor’s course at LPU with students getting placement offers from more than 200 companies. In this degree, the students are taught about the basic concepts of information technology for budding developers using the latest platforms. 

The eligibility criteria to pursue a BSc IT course at LPU is 50% marks in class 12 from a recognised board with English as one of the main subjects. As your score is 62% in the ISC board, you can easily get admission to the BSc IT program at LPU. You just have to appear in the LPUNEST exam and clear it. As per the eligibility criteria set by LPU for admissions to BSc. Biotechnology, a candidate must pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology/Biotechnology, and they must clear LPUNEST or CUET entrance examination.

This eligibility criteria makes it clear that a student of PCM (non medical) in class 12th can get admission to BSc. Biotech at LPU. However, you’ll have to clear the required entrance exam, and you must have passed your 12th with 60% aggregate.
