When considering colleges, you may come across options such as Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK). While these are both well-known universities, it's important to evaluate if they meet your requirements. Here are some points to consider while evaluating these universities:
Every college has its strengths and weaknesses. While some colleges may have all the facilities and opportunities you are looking for, others may offer unique experiences that you may not find elsewhere. Therefore, it's important to evaluate your options carefully and choose a college that aligns with your goals and aspirations.

If you are going to pursue your M.Tech from JNTUK, you will receive a stipend of 12,400 according to the AICTE norms. With the stipend, you will be able to handle your expenses comfortably.
In the initial stage, it can be a bit difficult, since it takes time to register and apply for the stipend. After the initial process is done, you can expect to receive your stipend regularly.
M.Tech has generally pursued research purposes. If you are highly interested in your subject then go for it without any further hesitation. To enhance your knowledge is never a decision that would make you regret it later.
You might even be offered an opportunity to opt for the post of Assistant Professor or Research Assistant. Your B.Tech qualification would suffice the criterion for private companies as a degree in M.Tech is not much of value in the corporate field.
You may opt for this course if you are immensely interested in acquiring a job post as a research assistant, etc. Otherwise, it would merely be a waste of time.
It is difficult to compare AU with JNTUK. Both of these institutes are quite reputed in Andra Pradesh. Both have a few specific branches that are exceptionally good. AU has branches like Marine Engineering, that JNTUK doesn’t. There is a limited student intake in both institutions. For each branch, there are only 50 seats at both institutes.
The placement facilities are quite good. In the recent placement drive, the average CTC offered at AU and JNTUK were 3.5 LPA and 4 LPA respectively. Both of these institutes also witnessed many IAS aspirants. So, you can choose either of these two institutes, based on your branch of choice.
Here is how you get get your sealed WES transcripts through JNTUK Kakinada.
Hope this clears your doubts.
In JNTUK, there are no campus placements available for master’s degree holders. TCS sometimes visits for the interview of post-graduate students and only hires a few students depending on their performance in interviews.
The course is not recognized by AICTE so you won't get many opportunities after completing your course and won't even get any stipend through your GATE qualification.
It is better to prepare for IITs or IISC if you want a career in this field, as these institutes will help you a lot to achieve your goal. Also, a post-graduation from an IIT or IISC will add a boost to your career. It will also be very easy for you to opt for research internships or a Ph.D. if you are planning to do in the future.
It will be better to avoid this college and rather prepare for some better colleges such as IIT or IISC because there are no campus placements available here and neither you will get any kind of opportunities or exposure studying in JNTUK.
No, it is not necessary to provide OD at the time of joining a job in an MNC. If you have OD at the time of joining, you can use it. Otherwise, the mark memorandum with your marks throughout the 1-8 semesters will be sufficient. You can also get a course completing certificate from your college. You can talk to HR about it, they will cooperate.
