Getting into Sharda University is not that difficult. An acquaintance of mine had to go through only an interview a few years back when he applied. Now, one has to appear for NEET. On the basis of that result, you go through the counseling process, and then your admission is finalized. The fee structure is approximately 4.5 lacs per annum and it’s a 4-year course.
Studying for NEET requires an extreme amount of effort. Trying for a better college than this would be good for you. A good government institution would help in saving you that money as Sharda University is on the expensive side.
One of my friends was confused while taking admission to Sharda University, after coming across bad comments. But, he stuck to his decision and took admission there, and now he is happy.
Here is his insight on the Sharda University based on his experience.

So, great to study at Sharda University in terms of academics, activities, and placements.
No, it is not difficult to get admission at Sharda University. It partly also depends upon the nationality of the student.
If you are an international student, you will be directly admitted via your 12th-grade reports and a passport. You will be only eligible for certain academic criteria in order to get admissions.
On the other hand, in terms of being a national student,
Seats are categorized differently for both international and national students. The seats are limited as well.
To get admission to Sharda University, students have to pass the entrance exam known as SUAT, which is conducted by the university.
The entrance exam, SUAT, is not an easy exam but it is not that tough like an IAS exam or JEE mains either. This exam is mandatory for everyone who wishes to get admission to this university and the questions asked in the exam are mostly the basic questions that you had already studied in your 11th and 12th.
You can easily manage to pass this exam if you have prepared well for the exam and have all your basics and concepts clear. Also, you will need at least 60% marks in your 12th to be eligible for admissions here.
Having friends who study in both colleges, I can assure you that, there is no comparison of Sharda University with any IPU colleges unless it is low rated.
There are alumni at Sharda University who are unemployed. Even a number of graduate students from IPU are still searching for jobs. There are students at both of these universities who have reached heights in technological fields.
If you want a strong core teaching and complete study environment, go for IPU. If you are happy with your studies and want to have a bit of a relaxed college life Sharda University is your spot.
