The possibility of getting any of the branches is open to students with a rank of 4396. Following the trend shown in the table and comparing it to the 2018 rank scale which had the opening rank between 1-750 for the general category and 1-15000 for the reserved categories. State Quota for the AEE saw the opening rank between 10001–12500 and the closing rank between 20001–22500.

Overall, the fees between the two campuses vary slightly, i.e., by INR 30,000 approximately. The fee increases every year and it might have changed from the above figures. There are two more campuses of the university, one in Chennai and another in Amritapuri.

One of my cousins studied at Amrita. According to him, chemical engineering at Amrita is superior and advanced in comparison with other colleges.

- Amrita has comparatively a higher fee structure than GITAM. GITAM on the other hand provides much more opportunities to its students.
- The faculty here is terrific as they belong from top institutes. The infrastructure is splendid and developed.
- The campus has a pleasant environment and the academics are outstanding.
- The placement opportunities are contenting compared to Amrita. It would be more improved by the time you reach your graduation year.
