For any other branches, you can choose either of these two institutes. The campus of NIT Rourkela is better than NIT Allahabad.

In the 2021 placement drive of NIT Rourkela, three students were offered the highest package of INR 45 LPA. Students from B.Tech CSE bagged the highest ever CTC. For the academic year 2019-20, the highest CTC offered was INR 42 LPA. The highest CTC was INR 40 LPA, a year previous to that. The institute offers good placement opportunities to the students. If you have the required skills, you can easily get a decent package through campus placements.
