BCA and MCA at LPU is a good decision. Choosing a dual option has no negative side it will help you financially. You will also have the option to not opt for MCA after the completion of your BCA course.

It is advised you opt for NIT Srinagar as it bears you a tag and reputation which will last with you for a lifetime. So, definitely, I would personally suggest you too to opt for NIT even though LPU is an enormously varied University. Besides, NIT Srinagar has a beautiful campus.

• NIT is a brand, you get a lot to hear about it. But, being a government institute you can get admission on the basis of JEE marks itself.
• LPU has its own privileges of assisting students with better infrastructure, academic facilities and Diaspora to explore areas like extracurricular activities.
• Coming to placements, no doubt the placement record of LPU is good. You will easily secure a job in the fields of CSE/IT and ECE.
• If you are from core Mechanical and Civil then you will get a chance to explore your skills through various international level platforms.

Though both are good in their respective places. But if you prefer an NIT tag, you can opt for NIT Srinagar. Otherwise choose LPU, if you plan to get placed in a top IT company.

Before enrolling at any university you must have done all the research from your side so that you can get help in following your career goal. You must see the institute’s placement record, infrastructure, faculties, facilities, etc.

Lovely Professional University is the best choice to take admission in as the university sees constant growth since its establishment. It shifted its approach from local to global presence and brought new ways of education such as shifting from classroom education to online education.

LPU Punjab is a good university if you want to pursue MBA and you will also end up getting very good placements all over the country.

• Alumni of Mittal School of Business are working in reputed MNCs like Google, Facebook, Apple.
• Other than these, students also get placed in companies like ITC, Practo, Bajaj, Berger Paints, Wipro Lighting, etc.
• Students also get international placements.
• According to the 2021 placement statistics more than 1150 students got placed through the drive and the highest CTC offered was around 30 LPA.

My cousin recently completed his studies at LPU and he is already a part of the industrial world through campus placements.
