LPU provides hostel facilities to the students. Every year a huge number of students opt for hostel facilities. There are different hostel options in LPU. However, it all depends on the vacancy and availability of the rooms. The 4 seater hostel rooms are good. You will be able to enjoy a peaceful lifestyle while living in this hostel. The room comes with a chair, a table, and a bed. There is an AC facility as well as a cooler and you can choose the one according to your preference. There is a hot water facility for which you will be provided a geyser. The room has an attached bathroom in western style. If you want an AC hostel, I would recommend AC BH1,6. And, if you opt for a cooler hostel I would recommend hostels BH2,3,5. Hostel life at LPU is fun and you will be happier if you get wonderful hostel mates.

LPU has performed excellently in the last few years in every aspect be it academics, placement or cultural and sports activities. This has made LPU one of the fastest growing private universities in India. To be precise, it can be considered to be one of the best private universities in India at the moment. Students are provided 360 degree education as well as groomed as per industry requirements which is one of the main reasons for students being placed at top companies across the world. I have learnt a lot during my time at LPU which I would not have learnt anywhere else. It has shaped me into a wonderful individual. The courses at LPU are diverse and incorporate all kinds of modern technologies. Students are provided workshops and internships to develop skill sets that are required by recruiters.

Being a student of the university, I can vouch for this. The campus is huge and the view is fantastic. You will be missing the college campus even during the vacation period. I must add that LPU is the largest university in India. The college hosts multiple spectacular events for the entertainment of the students such as DJ Nights and One world.

LPU is known for providing one of the best placements in the industry. In 2023, LPU has performed really well in terms of providing high paying placements to its students. On top of that, Computer Science Engineering is one of the most dynamic disciplines for which recruiters are willing to pay more. I would like to point out the placement statistics of 2023. For the Computer Science and Engineering batch of 2023, 95% of the students have been placed at the top companies with an average package of 7 LPA.

Moreover, a BTech CSE student has secured a package of INR 52.08 LPA from Microsoft. There were around 1107 total recruiters and the top recruiters were Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, Adobe, etc. Most of the high paying packages were secured by students who belong to the Computer Science Engineering batch of 2023.

Our university has different admission criteria for different courses. In some of the courses, appearing for the entrance exam is mandatory. However, one can get direct admission without applying for NEST which is mandatory for students who are looking for scholarship opportunities. Students need to sit for CUET examinations for admission in UG courses. For B. Des, students can sit for NID DAT. Students who are aiming to pursue B.F.Tech, M.F.M, M.F.Tech and B.Des can sit for NIFT examinations.

The admission process at LPU is simple to understand. You need to fulfill the admission criteria to fill up the entrance forms. Appearing for the LPU NEET examinations will be an added advantage. The campus and the college life at LPU has been one of the most fascinating experiences of my life. I have been blessed with the professors and my classmates who have made my college life remarkable.

Hotel Management Studies from Lovely Professional University is one of the very best in the industry. LPU is known for its excellent curriculum when it comes to the hotel management program. It includes a well constructed academic structure along with lucrative internship opportunities. Our university is well equipped with experienced faculty and modern infrastructure to help our students progress at all levels. Students who pursue this course are often placed at top hotels and companies around the world in the hospitality industry. The average package for 2023 was INR 4 lakhs. LPU is considered the leading private university in India. Each year, many students from all across the country try to secure seats at this college. 

I would also like to mention that LPU is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The National Agricultural Education Board of ICAR has also accredited some of the agriculture related courses at LPU. These courses include MSc Agriculture (Agronomy), MSc Agriculture Horticulture (Fruit Science), MSc Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding) and BSc (Hons.) Agriculture. Furthermore, LPU is also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

Placement opportunities at LPU are great. To support this, I must point out the placements that were offered in 2023. The placement percentage stood at 100%. The median package for UG (3 years) was INR 8.10 LPA and for UG (5 years) was INR 8.20 LPA. The total number of students who were placed stood at 384. Microsoft, Infosys, Adobe, etc. were the top recruiters.

LPU has secured 16th rank under the law category in the NIRF ranking 2023. Students who have pursued BA LLB from LPU are placed at top corporate companies. The curriculum of this course has made our students industry-ready. This course includes expertise in law, legal policies and frameworks, mergers and acquisitions and business. The recruiters are attracted to this aspect of the course and hire the students.

LPUNEST or LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test is the university-level entrance exam conducted by the LPU to select students for its various courses. I found the exam to be moderately difficult. Its difficulty is not considered to be very tough but, some students may find it difficult based on their preparation and knowledge.

It is a computer-based exam consisting of questions from physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology and English. Each section has 25 questions with no negative marking. Candidates are given 150 minutes to attempt the MCQs and fill in the blank questions. Questions are based on the previous qualification so my advice will be to have a thorough understanding of the concepts. 

Preparation tips that you can follow are. 

• Start early and familiarise yourself with the exam pattern and syllabus. 
• Practice the previous years’ question papers to understand the format and build speed. 
• Focus on subject basics to get the foundation clear. 
• Make a study schedule and stick to it. 
• Stay updated with events and general knowledge for the English section. 
• Take regular mock tests to check your progress.

My cousin's brother is doing BTech CSE in Data Science and according to him, LPU is the best university to pursue AI courses. The university currently offers AI as a specialisation for BTech CSE courses. 

The course is comprehensive and is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in AI. Students also have access to modern laboratories for practising their skills and developing new ones. The faculty members are also well-qualified and they have ties with companies like Futurense and UpGrad. 

The BTech AI courses are promising for students aspiring for a career in AI or related fields like machine learning, deep learning, neural networks and more. The BTech CSE with AI and Data Engineering students has seen more than 900 recruiters with the average package being INR 14.97 Lakhs for the top 10% of students. The per semester program fee is around INR 2 Lakhs.
