Yes, I confirmed it with a friend and it appears that the zero attendance policy at BITS Pilani is true. My friend claimed that this policy helped her in many ways. She tried attending classes initially but failed to do so as she found them to be boring and monotonous. She however attended the lab sessions and some physics classes which she found to be very intriguing.
The only disadvantage she faced was the surprise tests which she would often miss because of not attending classes. The simple solution for this is to ask one of your friends who attends classes to inform you if they feel the professor is about to conduct tests. But some professors still did not let her give these tests so she had to solely rely on her mid-semester and final exams.
Overall, she has no regrets for skipping classes as she feels she did quite well even without them and also saved a lot of time in the process.
With a rank of 30,000, there is a fair chance of you getting into NIT Rourkela, most probably in a dual degree or an integrated M Sc course. Whereas out of the top 10-15, you can get a chance of getting a seat in Biotechnology or textile or production is possible.
Also, if you have a category rank of 30,000, I'm not sure if you can expect anything. This rank can also fetch you a good branch in the Northeastern NITs or in the NIT in your home state which is not likely if you are from Telangana. And maybe Andhra Pradesh's new NIT too. So you can look for that.
Follow the steps given below to get the migration certificate from Mumbai University:

All three of the Indian Institutes of Technology you mentioned are well-respected institutions with strong programs in engineering.
All the aforementioned institutes are at similar levels and will give you the IIT tag. So the final decision depends on your priorities more than anything.
Without any doubt, IIT BHU is older and has a stronger brand value but it depends on which branch you will be getting. Ultimately, the best decision will depend on your personal preferences and goals.

SSCBS is one of the best undergraduate schools in India. Some amazing facts about this school are:
SSCBS has been ranked as second best undergraduate management college in Asia
SSCBS is the youngest institution in its own league
SSCBS is a state-funded college (DU) so the fees are affordable
SSCBS is the only college in India that offers BFIA/ BBA(FIA). It is now planning to offer a specialized course in financial mathematics in the coming years.
SSCBS has a small batch size so it’s fully dedicated to its students.
So it does not matter that SSCBS is not famous outside Delhi. What matters is that it is a great college.
The CSE department of NIT Trichy, one of the top NITs second only to the old IITs is indeed a well-regarded branch that has excellent education and placement records. I would say joining this without any doubt will do you no harm. Here is why I consider this branch to be highly regarded
The CSE curriculum is pretty easy and gives you enough time to explore other passions.
Ultimately, NIT Trichy CSE is a great option if you are someone who has no specific interests and is considering engineering as a safe option for your career.
IIT BHU and Banaras Hindu University are different institutes, though they share the same campus. The administration, management, and admission process everything is different for the institutes. Before becoming an IIT, IIT BHU used to be part of BHU. Now both are independent institutions. Like all IITs, IIT BHU is autonomous and makes its own decision regarding everything.
