Here’s a brief look into a typical day at IIM Ahmedabad.
Naturally, the schedule varies depending on the individuals. But the activities are more or less same.
IIT Delhi has a total of 18 hostels for men, and 2 hostels for women. Each hostel has its mess hall that serves decent quality food. The general trend in most hostels is Breakfast>>Lunch>=Dinner. The mess menu is decided in winter/summer semester-wise separately and generally doesn't change throughout the semester.
A variety of dishes are served and the taste is also very good. Additionally, there are night messes till 4 am where you can munch on paranthe, momos, and Chinese. Some eateries that serve excellent snacks are Hollistic for juices and shakes, Rajdhani, Chaayos, CCD, Staff Canteen, and many more. Some combinations of meals served in the mess are
A schedule is followed for mess food in every hostel. In which, sometimes the items served may differ. But the variety and quality of the food are excellent making it one of the motivating factors for students.
Life at JIPMER is extremely hectic yet very productive. A typical day begins at 8 in the morning for the MBBS students. The sleep-deprived students run for the first class often reaching late.
MBBS students have clinics from 10 while first-year students have dissection hall classes. Clinics are very intriguing wherein students are dressed up as doctors carrying stethoscopes. Lunch starts at 1 pm and lasts an hour.
The clinic classes are followed by afternoon classes from 2-4:30. The end of the classes at 4:30 marks the end of the day as well and students are free to do whatever they want. Students usually hang out with their friends after their hectic schedules. During tests, students can be seen in the library or pacing up and down the hostel corridor. Yet, we have our times of joy too. Every few months there are games tournaments. The campus life is fun and the annual fest, Spandan, is hosted in the first week of September each year.
Overall it's a continuous cycle of study, eat, and sleep with occasional fun moments with your friends!

Campus Life
With a strong focus on the development of the student's personality IIMB has a strong sporting infrastructure. This includes facilities for steak, soccer, cricket, tennis, basketball, volleyball, throw the ball, badminton, indoor games, etc. These facilities play an important role in the sporting culture.
IIM Rohtak is a very newly established IIM that has yet to make its place in the IIM family. Because of its recent establishment people deem it not worthy of the IIM tag. But in reality, it’s gradually picking up pace and by the time its first batch will graduate (2024), it will have climbed the ladder higher.
People think the IPM program offered by IIM Rohtak is a backdoor for people who want to escape the CAT exam. In reality, most of the students plan to give CAT or GMAT or both at the end of their third year.
Even if one compares Rohtak and Indore, we can clearly see that Rohtak is way ahead of Indore. The first batch placements of Rohtak are better than Indore.
Some consider the lack of connectivity and cost also a reason why Rohtak is not worth it. But let me shed some light on this matter. Rohtak is just 70 km away from Delhi. The International airport is just an hour or two 's drive from the campus. So the connectivity issue is resolved here. As far as the cost is considered, one should not underestimate the 5 years he will be spending at an IIM campus with top-notch facilities and the most learned faculty and brilliant peers. All the investment is worth it. The final decision is yours to make but does remember that IIM Rohtak will have climbed the ladder in just a few years.
Life at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is amazing for all the students. MAMC has a strict academic routine with frequent examinations, projects, Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE), and tutorials keeping students busy and alert for all academic activities. However, education is a balance of both academics and co-curricular activities.
MAMC has a huge green campus that creates a stress-free environment for students. The campus also has a stationery store, grocery store and Coffee Kiosk on campus for students to relax and shop or for their midnight hunger pangs. MAMC also has a playground and encourages students to actively participate in physical activities. Students are also encouraged to participate in inter & intro college fests to showcase their talents.
Students can have a wonderful 5 years with their peers and friendly seniors at MAMC and make their stay on campus worthwhile and memorable for their life. The connections you make at MAMC with peers and alumni are for life and will help you both personally and in your professional career as well.
