Both S Jaim and MDI Gurgaon are highly-ranked colleges. So choosing the colleges can be made easier by referring to the general placement statistics of both institutes.

MDI Gurgaon Placements 2022 saw the participation of 87 recruiters. Among them, 35 were first-time recruiters. Major recruiters included Asian Paints, Axis Bank, HCL, Infoedge, Microsoft, Samsung, Flipkart, Amazon, Jio & many more. The participating batch comprised a total of 391 students. Students received 131 pre-placement offers.

During SPJIMR Placements 2022, 75 recruiters visited the campus. Some of the top recruiters are Accenture, Aditya Birla Capital, Amazon, American Express etc. PGDM students 123 PPOs/PPIs. The highest salary offered was INR 53.16 LPA. The average salary of PGDM students was INR 32.06 LPA.

In terms of placements, MDI Gurgaon fares better than SP Jain although the difference between the two is not notable.

• In terms of fees, the PGPM one-year all-inclusive fee is just shy of 20 Lakhs, whereas that of XL GMP is around 25k. 
• The PGPM program at SPJIMR has one of the most dedicated Placement Support teams in the country. If placements are a significant concern for you, this might be a deciding factor.

In summary, when deciding between SPJIMR and XLRI, it is crucial to consider factors such as location advantage, specialization cohorts, diversity policy, fees, and placement support.

Both IIM Shillong and S P Jain Mumbai are highly regarded management institutes in India. IIM Shillong is a government-owned institution and one of the top-ranked management institutes in the country. It offers a two-year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) that provides students with a solid foundation in management education.

S P Jain Mumbai, on the other hand, is a private institution that offers various management programs, including a two-year full-time PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) program, which is equivalent to an MBA degree. It has been consistently ranked among the top business schools in India and has a strong global reputation.

When deciding between IIM Shillong and S P Jain Mumbai, you should consider factors such as program structure, curriculum, faculty, campus facilities, location, and placement records. You may also want to research the alumni network of both institutions and the industry partnerships they have to gain insights into the career opportunities they offer.

However, it will be suggested to enroll in SP Jain Mumbai, rather than IIM Shillong. 

My personal preference is MDI Gurgaon among all the colleges you have mentioned. This institute excels in many aspects when compared to other B Schools. 

Placements: Placements at MDI Gurgaon are much better than JBIMS and SP Jain. The table below has proven the same through statistics.

Faculty: Without any doubt, MDI Gurgaon has the best faculty in the whole of India. It comprises the most learned personalities in the industry. It has around 80 nationally and internationally acclaimed faculty.

Corporate talks: Owing to its location in a metro city, MDI has a lot of corporate talks that are way ahead of normal guest lectures and add to the overall experience of the students. You may even find MD/CXO level folks from Deloitte/ColPal visiting and giving Corporate talks.

Clubs: MDI runs its own Mutual Fund Unnati where students get to learn the tactics of investing in stocks. Illumina is a rural marketing research concept where students get to learn consumer behavior first hand.

Exchange Program: The highlight of MDI Gurgaon is its exchange program is the best in the country. MDI has partnered with several foreign countries and students have to choose from them. MDI’s PGPIM program gives you a dual degree with 1 year in MDI and 1 year with ESCP Europe among various other options. Students completed their internships in European countries and secured International Job offers and settled abroad after this program.

All these major factors are more than enough to convince you against joining other B Schools if you have converted MDI Gurgaon. I have seen many students forgoing offers even from IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore just for MDI Gurgaon.
